Join the new world

It's taken me a couple days to get started and working around a busy personal schedule hasn't been easy, but I'm getting myself in gear. First off I would like to thank the party for putting their trust in me and allowing me this chance.

First off is why Military Advancement Party. Things change, times change, perceptions change. A quick poll of the membership done quickly and quite openly allowed some options and opinions to be gathered. Dictatorship while a fun name gave a poor impression, nobody that replied cared to hang on to it and some brainstorming was done to give a truer image of the party. Some brainstorming was done, a few suggestions offered up and a truer nature was revealed by popular opinion.

Please welcome the Military Advancement Party.

As we all know fighting has become a central interest to the game of late and advancing our fighters is an important aspect. There are always the other sides of the game that play a part though. I pledge to well, do something I've always done and others in the party have shown 'a like' kind of mind to work to help advance the position of Canadian fighters, in a fair and responsible manner. It's all to easy to say tax the crap out of everything and fund the military with it, the trick is to find a balance that is fair to all while still giving our troops the support they deserve.

I've also introduced another concept that is not entirely new but has been supported greatly and that is a mass discussion between party congresspersons ingame. While activity has not appeared a problem here it does allow everyone to be informed and share information. The benefits can only overshadow the annoyance of getting multiple PMs on certain days. 🙂
