Across the country and onto your screen, the Merchantman provides you with Congressional election coverage for this Saturday, April 25.
Alberta:
Alberta is simmering into a hotly contested four party race, with 4 candidates all within a vote and all currently holding Official or Wildcard positions.
Duke Leto and Unthak are the official candidates thus far at four votes, Dade Pendwyn and Adasko are wildcarded at 3. 15 votes have been cast so far.
British Columbia:
The West Coast past the cascades is seeing especially heavy balloting with 5 candidates currently leading.
Both Dabman and Ralph de Ver of the CSD and CEP respective hold the official positions, with Leps Dessim, Sloche, and Manson Tai holding wildcards. So far, 31 votes have been cast.
Manitoba:
Incumbent Congressman and rabble-rouser Petz holds the lead for the CSD so far in Manitoba, with Le Grand Monarque from the PNQ, Dethkill from the CPP, and Mick Kaine of the CEP close behind as the wildcards. Manitoba has seen heavier than average balloting for its size.
New Brunswick:
A light day in NB sees former President Zanalan up with 4 votes and Turianel of the PNQ the other official candidate at 2. Only 7 votes cast thus far.
Newfoundland and Labrador:
The Rock is seeing two candidates as well leading or elected, Derek Harland of the CPP and Maximilien of the PNQ with only 8 votes thus far.
Northwest Territories
Hungarian born Kharchy dominates early balloting with 4 votes, 3 over his closest competitor Tamas Dzsudzsak. 6 votes have been recorded thus far.
Nova Scotia:
With 12 votes counted, incumbent Vincent Chaotic leads with 5 votes followed by....me...with 4.
Nunavut:
With 11 votes in, Nunavut is another two way race between the CEP's natashan and former President Tom Hagan at 4 and 3 votes each.
Ontario:
The most populous province proves it with the two official candidates, CSD Leader Cleomynestra Cathak and Aarkon Dradsmore holding 33 votes between them. PPC leader 1ronman, Lord Terror, Trenton Randell, and Tarkus currently hold Wildcard slots with 70 votes total.
PEI:
The island has seen light voting in the first 8 hours of this election, allowing ezhik of the CEP and Francois Paradis of the PNQ to hold the official slots at 2 a piece. Only 6 votes have been cast thus far.
Québec
La Belle Province has seen decent voting at 32 ballots cast with PNQ leader Miroslav tallying 8 votes to Inochimizu of the CSD's 6. 3 candidates currently hold wildcards, Eric Boucher of the PNQ, Falling Moon of the CSD and marcchelala of the CEP.
Saskatchewan:
Also a lightly populated area seeing Voltogyre of the CEP and Michel D'Estrange of the CPP sitting at three and two votes each. Only 6 votes currently cast.
Yukon:
No surprise here, with only one vote cast thus far, Ideology of the CEP holds a seat while jbmalin of the CEP at zero votes holds the second.
