Why Create a new Party

Today, The American Progressive Front, the eUS's newest political party, makes its debut. The Party President elections of March and April made it clear that no party was immune from a take-over by hostile domestic interests or by citizens sympathetic to foreign enemies of the eUS. Trying to prevent hostile takeovers by domestic forces made it very difficult for parties to do their most important job in the political system: recruiting and reviewing candidates for Congress. Time spent organizing to prevent a takeover was time not spent finding the strongest possible Congressional candidates. Time was also taken from organizing and maintaining other important party activities, especially orienting, mentoring and educating party members to be informed and effective participants in eUS politics. Takeovers by enemy sympathizers were also a major threat to national security, raising the possibility that enemy sympathizers might be elected to Congress.

On April 16, active members of America's Advancement Party, the United States Worker's Party and the Democratic Republican Party met to consider how to reduce the take over threat. The group concluded that each party alone lacked sufficient active members to perform its essential activities and to prevent take overs. Having concluded that the three parties involved had few, if any, fundamental differences in ideology or policy preferences, the group concluded that a coalition of the parties into a single party was the most effective way to reduce the take-over threat. The result of the meeting was the creation of The American Progressive Front, a coalition of the three participating parties.

The coalition has several advantages in preventing party take-overs that threaten the national security and disrupt party activities. It brings together enough active members that essential party activities can be carried out and even strengthened. It brings together sufficient total members to make a take-over very difficult.

Party Institutions

Having concluded that a coalition was the most effective means of preventing party disruption and threats to the national security, activists from all three participating parties began organizing a coalition party. The first order of business was to appoint a provisional board, composed of two members of each coalition party to write and adopt a Party Constitution

The result of their effort is The first APF permanent board was selecte😛

From Our Top Leaders

To conclude, Max McFarland 2, our Party President and Stormin, our Chief of Staff, have a few thoughts:

The Party President

~ The idea behind the American Progressive Front is simple. The eUSA needs five strong parties at the top. By combining the old AAP, USWP, and DR into one coalition party, we have created a vibrant party that shall stand the test of time. The APF consolidates the strength of the constituent parties in one movement, allowing some of our active, smaller parties to move into the top five. This is best for the eUSA.

The Chief of Staff

Greetings my fellow APF members and those considering joining us!
I've had the privilege of being the first Chief of Staff for the APF. It's my job to make sure the party leadership runs smoothly, hire people to fill positions, and get jobs done. If you are interested in being a political party leader please send me a message in game and I'd love to find you a spot to help us out. We are in need of those willing to spend the time mass mailing our party information. These positions often lead to gaining higher level spots as we are always looking to promote dedicated hard working party members. Join us in APF and let's help make the eUS great!!!
