Hi Kids!

Ya know, sometimes I wonder if I should have stopped playing a long time ago. There were many reasons I could have made the logical choice to go on about my real life without wasting it on a browser game. Oh well, that’s all water under the bridge. It’s funny pondering this as an old friend that quit playing a long time ago just commented to one of my recent BHs, “You still playing?”. lol Yeah, I suppose I am.

Then there are people that seem to never quit. I don’t have any idea where or when I met this fellow. All I know is that there are certain people in this game that stand out. Sometimes, as in my case, like a sore thumb. Others are the pleasant kind of stand out. Don’s one of those types.


An Interview With Don



We've known each other quite a while, but please tell others about your background and experiences in eRep.

Well firstly I'm happy to be your friend, so let's start with that. As for Erepublik experience I've been Commander of CrOmega (Irish version) and Irish Army (Irish MU which makes 95% of Irish damage), I was Dictator several times, I've founded both Aurora and Adriatica (both alliance were started by my initiatives and both started in Ireland), then I was MoD, MoFA, back in the old days I was Military Commander (MC) in EDEN...lots of other stuff, but most of all I was always loyal romantic in this game, always loyal to the allies, even when it's hard to keep the loyalty.

You’ve done it all, that’s for sure. Which leads to my next question, why Australia?

Well it had you, I had great impressions of its population during the Resource Wars and it's native english speaking country. Was easy choice.

I came here to get away from it all. Me thinking stuffs be following me mate.

How do your changes help the average Joe?

Hopefully it's going to offer poor Joe something to play for, you know - a motivation. When people join CrOmega, they never leave, and that's a fact. It's because of the feeling we create, it's mutual understanding and helping each others and people like that, everyone like playing together instead of playing alone, it's so much more fun.
As for the economy side, we'll offer much more supplies than anyone ever did in Australia, we're going to create a MU which is going to have one of the best organisations in the game, basicly, CrOmega will be the best MU Australia has ever seen. And I'm saying that from personal experience of what CrOmega was in Ireland. Game changer.

That’s wonderful! I’m always wanting to help the new guy and something always distracts me and I never follow through. Here’s to a long life for you and CrOmega Australia.

What do you think of the Foreign Affairs changes we are making?

Australia is a small country and we need clear support of our allies. We'll never be able to beat bigger countries if we're not backed by friends and that's a fact. Any resistance without organisation and support is useless. First we need to organise ourselves and then we need to bring help.

You continue to organize us and I’ll keep gathering the help.

Why are we not just kicking Peru and Hungary out of here?


We can't do it alone if we don't spend millions of dollars. It's simply impossible to do anything with the damage we have in this moment. Especially if we don't organise both ourselves and our allies who should provide massive help.

One thing is sure, I wouldn't negotiate a peace with them, I would make them leave. My only agenda when in Ireland was to never negotiate with your own territories. I hope to see the same in Australia. But first, we'll have to organise ourselves, our Government, our military and most of all, we need to know who can we count on. My first impressions are that Australia doesn't have too much allies support. In comparison with Ireland (Bulgaria, Croatia, USA and Macedonia was always supporting us strongly) it has none.

Well, the thing is we had several friends, some stronger than others, but we all helped each other. When Hungary did the AS and Rusty started working to find out why he quickly found that while there was plenty of sympathy there was no support. We’re in the process of correcting this deficiency.

If you could click a button named "GOD MODE" what would you do?


Hmmm, tough question 😛
I would bring back v1, totally. Then I'd allow CO's only for the Irish and Australians and we would be able to take our revenge to the bigger countries which oppressed us.
