Mayor Elections for the Shire

My dear Bagginses and Boffins, Tooks and Brandybucks, Grubbs, Chubbs, Hornblowers, Bolgers, Bracegirdles and Proudfoots, and other dear hobbits, soon it shall be the 17th election for Mayor of the Shire.



I have decided to place my hat in the ring and run for Mayor of this great land. I have many qualifications to speak of. My main role in the past has been the official "burgular" to King Thorin Oakenshield. Under this role I have performed many notable deeds. The first of which is defeating the masterful Gollum in a duel of riddles. I won with my most famous of riddles, "What is in my pocket" and before you ask, no it wasn't my handses! I also acquired a great item in Gollums lair, but that shall remain a mystery.



My second deed, that if I say so myself quite saved the day, was to save my 13 companions from the spiders of Mirkwood. Quiet soon afterwords, I also rescued my companions from the dungeons of the Wood-elves, who are quite nasty folks. Following this, I put my burglar skills to the test and scouted out the great dragon Smaug's den. I discovered the dragon's weakness which directly lead to his defeat. Finally I fought in the great Battle of Five Armies. As you can see, I have developed quite an inter-Middle-earth reputation, and I hope to lead you in the following month.
