Ok I could never really tell my mom cause she already thinks I'm a nerd. Thanks for electing me eSouth Africa! I know there wasn't anyone else running, but it's good to know I made the competition tremble so much that they decided not to run.

Good news for us as well is that wizzie_don was elected president of eIndonesia. "What!" you may be exclaiming. "This woman is crazy! He's our enemy!" Well, duckling, that used to be the case, but he's actually quite a nice bloke so calm your ruffled feathers.

MILITARY
Siroe has launched the first platoon of our new military! He's called it the 1st Platoon of the 7th Motorized Infantry Batallion (Pretorian Guard) of eSouthAfrica. Don't ask.

HOSPITAL
Can I hear a whoop whoop? Thanks to everyone for your donations towards our first Q5 hospital that eSA has ever had! I repeat: we will be buying it AFTER congressionals. Instead of a defense system, we will soon we fund-raising towards a second Q5 hospital for our second region (latest arrival date: 3 months but watch this space) in order to spread the population a bit for a number of reasons.

CONGRESSIONALS
I'm so impressed, I only got 1 pissed off message about my decision to limit the number of candidates to run. I guess you all understand how important this is for the future of eSA! Just to repeat: this is not a "buddy" system. This is a merit system. People who have been actively involved in the liberation of eSA deserve to help fix the country more than people who just came back after a period of dormancy.

And these aren't just people in SAIL, they are also people who sent me messages during occuption asking for updates and commented on articles and donated gold instead of just sitting back and waiting for something to happen.

Remember, this is just ONE election. After that you are welcome to run!

IRON COMPANY
A generous donation from our former finance minister Hireshmont Vellos means we have a Q4 iron company which our current finance minister Gabriel Borien is running at a profit. If you have skill in land, please get in touch with me or him to go work for the company in Spain for minimum wage and help eSA grow!

I just want to repeat: the president cannot change taxes or minimum wage so please don't wonder why the hell I'm not doing anything.

On a personal RL note, I've had a family emergency and am going down to Cape Town tomorrow (glad it's not occupied in RL). I will be on my laptop and check messages but I am not sure how much time I can spend online. It if turns out I can't spend a lot, I'll announce my vice president Steven Bosch will take over from me. If I can, there'll be no announcement.
