Day 4,814, 06:23 Published in Belgium Argentina by caribo

Hey all! I have an essay to present to you today, concerning the news in Belgium
Based on real facts? I will let you decide

January 24th, early afternoon, this reporter can't even hear his thoughts in the continuing bombing and desolation in the coup. Even considering that, he is resoluted to fulfil his duty and find out the latest news. This is his journey.
We arrive at the President resident, but we are not allowed in, since its under siege, with some loyal soldiers defending it, but being overpowered by rebel forces. We show our press credential in order to enter there and get an exclusive interview with the President, but its very risky, and rebel forces does not grant our security.
The cameraman and this reporter decides to walk around the city, looking at the destruction that war causes, and trying to get some important news. As we walk by, we notice an iron door guarded by 3 armed soldiers. When we present ourselves, they told us its rebel forces headquarters. After some conversations, they understand it can be positive to let us in, so they can let the people hear the arguments in an interview.
When finally we are cleared to enter, after being checked for gun possession, they escort us to “Dictator9” offices, which we are told is the leader of the insurrection. Since it’s a rebel headquarter, we are not expecting a lot of luxury, but we surprise ourselves when we see a lot of things that we would expect to find in a French palace.
When we get to Dictator 9 office, we greet him and tells him we need to ask some question, and that we will give him the possibility to talk with the citizens and make his point. He says that, even being the leader in paper, he is not the one running things, he shouts “Teddy”, and tells us to wait there, that the one in charge will speak to us.
While we wait, we hear some shouts, where we can listen Dictator9 speaking, but we don’t know with who. We manage to listen that the other voices tells “you know who is in charge, you get the position and sign the papers, I make the decisions”.
A few minutes after that, we are greeted by Teddy, whose voice sounds very familiar, and we look at each other with the cameraman, both thinking it was the voice that was shouting.
He starts teling the motives of the coup, and even when we listen to him, we struggle to find out his real reasons, since he switches from sentence to sentence. When Im about to ask a very important question, an aide enters the room, and Teddy kindly introduces her to us. She is “MCSnickers” he said. She politely receive us, and after she leaves to keep with her duties, she whisper in Teddy ear. While it was a whisper, since Teddy has the microphone on we could listen to what she said. “Remember to give me a position in government, it doesn’t matter if you have to create a new ministery or whatever, I want some position in power in some way”.
When we ask them to clarify on that, they decline to provide further comments.
After that, they seems more hostile towards us. We decide its time for a few photos and then leave out of there, it’s a dangerous place.
We were able to take some good pictures that we are sure will be in tomorrow newspapers. As we leave that rebel palace, we see Dictator9 signing a bunch of papers that were brought to him by Teddy, which tells him “don’t read them, just sign”.
As we leave that rebel palace, we are left wondering what the future will look like for this beautiful nation
