Let's dance America, Arundel/Lantrip for June [EN/TR]

It’s true, America. I’m back for round three. I only wish Emerick was here to dance with me this last time. Presidential elections are upon eRepublik again, and I’m running once again. Since last month I’ve served my second term as Speaker of the House, and my third term as a member of the Terra Alliance’s HQ Staff.

I’m going to keep this simple, America. Now is the time. I’ve assembled another badass cabinet, I mean, I’m pretty good at that. Last month Emerick used a handful of the people I posted in my article in the exact same positions I had chosen them for. Go figure, Emerick using someone else’s idea as his own.

What I’m going to do in my articles over the coming days is outline the Arundel Administration. My plans for the country are simple. Direct our damage to the place we can cause ONE the most pain. Currently that is Spain, with the occasional RW drain on Poland. We need to stop wasting damage, and direct what we have better. More on that in detail in my next article, but I will say that I have spoken with the inci leadership about better coordination with the OWLS, and we've worked out a system that will keep them OMS compliant so that we can fund them. They already fight with us, in our battles, the paperwork is a hurtle, and I think we've found the way to clear it. So long as they fight with us, we should fund them. Terra also has some things in the works, hopefully some of them will come to fruition, and you might even see a new country joining the fold. This would be great for us.

Now, down to business, who will be helping me lead this country through the next month? Well, first you have my Vice President. Someone who everyone knows, most love, and we’re all very jelly of his massive ePeen. He’s also very hairy.

Yup, Colin Lantrip has agreed to be my Vice President.



Colin’s time as President, National Security Advisor, and all around megatank badass, have made him one of the eWorld’s most recognized players, and I respect the hell out of all he’s done for us. We recently began working together on some things, including the liberation of the American War Party, and we have a good flow. He keeps me in check, and I try and do the same for him. The balance here is good, and I trust him completely.

Next, comes my Chief of Staff. Now, after last months’ pick, Blank Keating you have to be thinking ‘what other totally obvious hidden gem do you have for us now?’ Well, I tried to go outside of the box with this one. I wanted someone who had the raw material to do the job, but might not have the exposure that others do. Someone who has proven they can keep things organized, and running smoothly. This led me to choose Gnilraps to serve as Chief of Staff.



Gnilraps has shown that he has the skills required to build a complex organization from nothing. His ability to take a party that was on life support and push them to be an effective organization again is incredibly impressive, and I look forward to watching him manage the Executive staff. While he and I butt heads over some things, I think that again, there is a nice balance found. We can disagree and argue, but at the end, we’re still friendly, and we respect each other. His support last month meant a lot, and I’m glad he’s agreed to move forward with me.

So, these two guys will be my primary backup. I want a team that covers the full spectrum. As President, I won’t just represent the people who have supported me, but the entire country, and it’s important to keep things in perspective.
