So, quick question – How many of you actually paid attention to the fact the top image links to a song? You can PM me recommendations if you want, saves me digging into my library xD! Today’s agenda –

1) – JK for AMP Party President!
2) – What is Congress like?
3) – An update for AMP on its Retention Department

So without further ado, let’s begin!



1) – John Killah is running for AMP’s Party President!

Yep, that’s right! I’ve finally decided to run for Party President of the best damn Political Party in all of eRepublik! (Sorry if you’re reading this from a different party, don’t be too offended by the truth :3). What makes me suitable to lead AMP into a new era? Well, here’s a bit of information for you –

• I have been in AMP’s Leadership for 5 consecutive months: Not many people can claim that
• I have knowledge of what needs to be done in AMP to take it to the next level
• During my first term as Chief of Staff, my boss (Cleveland Fleman) couldn’t be around as much, so I already have experience acting as a Party President.
• I work hard. Sometimes it may not seem it, but I actually do a lot of work that nobody sees, because I’m the sort of person who wants to make sure his work is complete before presenting it.
• I have no problem telling it as it is – Ask some people in congress that I have had no troubles doing this

I have also pieced together a cabinet for my term if I win, and here’s a little taster of who you can expect in my cabinet –

• I have one man, who knows what it’s like being the PP of AMP, and was one of the best there was. And did I forget to mention that he’s held more Executive Positions than most of AMP put together?
• Another man is a man of the world … knowing the politics of places like Bulgaria.

I’ll reveal the full list soon, but I’m one of those people who like to keep you all in suspense 😉

So if you’re in AMP, vote for John Killah as Party President when the Primary opens!



2) – What is congress like this month?

While less controversial than last month, Congress has certainly seen its fair share of discussion this month. While I’m not going to reveal what happens in the Private Section (What do you think I am? An idiot?!) I will speak about what’s happened in the public section (I know some of you don’t read there) –

I) – OMS Funding going bye-bye? Erm … no. There is the argument that OMS has served its purpose and as such, should be removed from the budget while the militias are offered the chance to become a USAF Branch. My opinion: Don’t get rid of it! I understand and respect the opinions given to me, I still stick by my stance that OMS is still serving its purpose and should remain in the budget. As such, for the moment it has still been included in the budget, instead having it’s number reduced to $100k

II) – SEAL Team 6 and OWLS joined the USAF. I didn’t expect ST6 to become part of USAF, as last I heard, they were going private, sort of like the eUS Military. But I’m not gonna argue whether or not they made the right choice or not, because that will go into all sorts of arguments that I refuse to get dragged into. As for OWLS, good luck to them as a new branch o/

III) – We finally passed a budget! After a couple of weeks of haggling, mainly over the OMS funding, we finally reached a consensus and within 3 days, we had the budget passed and is now official!





3) – AMP Retention Department: for the Public

You all don’t usually get one of these 😮! But I thought I’d let you all know so that you can understand what my department has been up to. I’ll find it easier to list this –

• First, we have been working on cementing the details of an AMP Mentor’s program. While we almost have all the details worked out, we still need to hammer out the tiniest details before all is said and done. BUT it is at the very least, functional!

• Second, the bigger project of an AMP Retention Newspaper. What is that you ask? It’s simply a newspaper for those newbies of ours, and those who are unaware of certain sections of the game. It will be a web of useful information and articles, from Military, to Politics, to Economics!

• And Finally, we will be hosting a “Drunking PP Night” in #amp on Friday. It will be every PP AMP has ever had (With the except of Halibutt) getting drunk and speaking to anyone who asks them questions in #amp. Attending so far are (In order of alcoholic status) – Israel Stevens, Jack Mensley, David Wilson and Kria Erikson! Not to mention some of the RT will also be drinking (Myself included) to widen the fun!

Todays Guest! – Haliman! (again)

Hello again, America. I wanted to give you guys an update on the Brit Hunt.

As of right now, the hunt is over. We have aprehended the suspect, now known as the Honourable Duke John Persius Eleanor Phillip Killah III.

We caught him at a London pub consuming tea and crumpets. He reportedly ordered the fish and chips just before officers of the British Aprehensive and Destruction Army of Supreme Soldiers, or B.A.D.A.S.S. took him into custody.

He was doing something incredibly unamerican. He was cheering on a very close game of football.

NOT THE AMERICAN FOOTBALL.

I know. It sickens me too. But rest assured, you and your children may sleep easy tonight. The man known as the Brit Knitter (because he knits his victimsa sweater before he leaves, of course) is no longer at large.
