Jeff for IUP PP!
Lord Jeffrey
It is my pleasure to formally enter into the ring as the Party President of the Irish Union Party. The IUP has a long and proud tradition in Ireland and I am looking forward to the opportunity to serve as PP. Things seem to be far less active than days gone by to say nothing of the organization.
It's important to start with the overarching philosophy that I have about this whole game- This is a game, it should be FUN. I think people should have a little fun with this and not be too dry and boring. That doesn't mean nonsensical, just supporting outcomes that lead to more active and engaged community through promotion of fun.
What I would do as PP of the IUP:
Reorganize: People are the greatest asset to any organization. A party should have a leader that promotes activity and provide an organization to accommodate that.
Rejuvenate: This has always been a party that reached out to new players. I think that as a whole country we are stronger when we have people to reach out to new players, help them learn, and give them the tools to succeed and make all of us stronger. Also, winners should have a winners attitude, it has become a big stagnant and there needs to be a can-do attitude in regards to the potential for future success.
Rebrand: I think that in the mind of many established residents the brand seems to have grown stale here in Ireland. With party support of course, I will explore the creation of a new party logo, with emphasis on quality like the party I want to build. I would also quickly move to clarify and reiterate what our party stands for today so people have a good understanding of what their choices mean.
I also believe in setting goals, and being judged on results, not newspaper articles.Within my term, if elected I will increase the size of our party by 100% or 29 members and create a strong, organized and active political force in Ireland
I am a winner, I always win, and I'm good at this. Vote for me on Day 1,730 as the party president of the IUP and I will deliver.

A good leader and a good person. You will get my vote Jeff.
Please be sure to realize what you are entering here. The IUP isn't just another party, it is the oldest standing party. I wish you luck with increasing the membership, the IUP deserves it, but be cautious with your rebranding, it is a cherished historical institution. Voted & Subbed
Best of luck o7
@Ronisu I appreciate that.
I also appreciate the fact that the party on its current course is leading to oblivion. I think I understand the type of job that needs to be done in that regard, it will not be a negative thing.
Not a problem, the IUP would not have lead to oblivion though, it would almost guaranteed always have a seat in the Dail (I'm looking at you Bhane). Not many parties can claim that. I do wish you luck in growing the IUP though.
To be fair the party would never go into total oblivion it is nearly impossible with Bhane here and I joined IUP based partially upon it's old age.
As I said in the onset I know, appreciate and embrace the history of this party. I understand why some people may be scared of words like "change" and "rebranding" but I assure you that what I propose is not at all drastic or irresponsible. What I propose are tweaks in this regard, nothing drastic. Like I say, we have seen things become stale to the point that despite its proud history the IUP was flirting with 6th party status which would make things like support in congress difficult.
With me, if elected, there will be never such concerns again as long as I am around.
The main thing I will bring to the party is a fresh outlook, strong organization and a winning attitude.
This is where you will see the big changes from what we have encountered as of late.
