It's about time, right?

Hi all,

I am sitting here writing something that I didn’t think I would ever be saying.

Today, after a bit of persuasion, I came to the conclusion it was finally time to run for Country President of the eUK.

I am relishing the challenge that is possibly ahead of me and would like to just quickly give you an overview of what I would like to do if elected.

I have now been actively involved in 8 cabinets over the past 11 months. I have seen from the inside how they have worked, how they have failed and where errors have been made. I have obviously voiced my opinion and didn’t just sit there letting it all go wrong when mistakes are made but I believe I have the know how to run a good government.

The way I see it, I will be the person to ensure that everything is getting done and give the final say on all of the big decisions. This is something I have done consistently for the eUK treasury and also for my MU, The Legion.

I am looking into breaking each Ministry down and giving people within each Ministry a specific role. For example, in the Ministry of Home Affairs I would have someone releasing guides at least every three days and then another individual who is tasked to keeping us as entertained as possible. I have many ideas that I will be looking into and will be contacting ex Ministers and CPs for their views on what went best during their term and how they could have improved on it. Any of you out there reading this right now, please PM me!

I will be basing my cabinet decisions purely on getting the job done. In the past we have seen terms where a ministry was completely quiet and just didn’t live up to the needed standard. I will ensure that every minister knows what is expected of them and if there is any kind of RL issue we will look at either getting cover for the needed period of time or replacing them if they are no longer able to fulfil their role. This seems like quite an obvious thing to do, however in the past it hasn’t quite happened fast enough.

Obviously my expertise are likely to lie in the MoF and MoD given my past experience but I am actively passionate about making the game better for everyone and keeping everyone upto date which is effectively the MoHA. I am happy to learn about the MoFA with some very good advisors by my side with the needed contacts and the know how to make sure we get through these troubling times in TWO.

I am not going to promise ridiculous things that just can’t be done.

I do promise that I will give 100% to the eUK and all of my actions will be made with the eUKs best interests in mind.

I will talk later about what I am planning to do, however I do at current want to start looking for people willing to help out in given ministries. All I want is people who are hard working and respectful. If you put your all in like I will be doing and you can gel into our team then please apply right now!

Now, the elephant in every CP election in the eUK. Which “side” do you come on?

I have no side, I believe I am one of the few people who genuinely aren’t on a side of the “divide”. When I started this game I came on IRC and joined eUK. Someone told me to come to #ESO as it was the most active chat room of all the parties and this sure was true. I joined every party chat room just to be sure and I still to this day join every party chat room. I joined ESO and was there for a glorious few months. I was then unhappy with some decisions going on inside ESO and decided to part ways and focus all of my energy on the part I still enjoyed, The Legion. I officially left ESO well over a year ago now and have not been involved in any party decision in that time at all. I have disagreed with almost everyone over something or another, that doesn’t mean I don’t like you, it just means in that given conversation I disagreed with your opinion. I don’t shy away if I disagree, I let my voice be heard and try and convince you to see my way of thinking.

I will be picking people for my cabinet based on actually getting the job done. I will not even consider what party you are in. If you sound enthusiastic enough to get the job done and do it well then I am happy to take you on.
