Is ePhilippines Alone?

After reading much about our country's current state I came to the conclusion that we have a very limited chance of protecting our sovereignty if we keep on putting our trust to people whom we are not communicating with. I have been an eFilipino for a couple of months and I have observed that we are sending ambassadors that don't have a job like RL ambassadors have. We treat our ambassadors as if they are spies working for our government. All of us know what ambassadors do right? Ambassadors are representatives that the government send not to spy, but to strengthen bonds that their country of origin has and their country of designation. We keep on accepting and sending MPs to countries we don't communicate with or have limited communications with.
I am simply requesting our government to start on sending real ambassadors not ambassadors that act as spies and this is not just for ePhil. but for the all of the ecountries.

Our ambasador system is never closed but there had not been any apply for position yet
how does one apply for a position as ambasador?
I also don't know how to apply. And also, I think some have the misconception that if they are ambassador, they aren't removed until they quit
