We have been brought to the brink of war, but thanks to the diplomacy of our President the crisis has been adverted. While I believe this show of force has been good for our nation it is time to step back and let diplomacy take over.
We are at a crossroad and we must decide as a nation if we wish to pursue our current path towards destruction or take a turn towards peace and prosperiety. I plead to my fellow Canadians, our friends, and our allies to allow us to come to a peaceful resolution with the Spanish. We have shown our ability to beat back our opponents, but continuation of hostilities will not lead to the long term stability which our nation desperately needs.
We have proven that we can take back our territories from Spain in the current climate, but it is in our interest to come to a better agreement with them while we still can. Canada must now show the new world that despite the wishes of the masses that we will honor our word and act as an honest and responsible neighbor.
The eWorld is in the process of a realignment, and unless we as a nation can show patience and an ability to adapt we risk alienating our friends and being left out in the cold to fend for ourselves. It is our responsibilty as citizens to honor the agreements our government makes on our behalf. If we do not honor our agreements, no nation will be willing to work with us in the future. If you do not like the NAP the solution is simple elect someone who will cancel it on the 6th of the month when it is set to renew instead of breaking it and along with it our word as a nation.

Except more Americans fought for eCanada than Canadians did themselves. I realize you do not care if eCanada is destroyed as long as it keeps your enemies out of power, but there are those of us who wish to make something out of Canada instead of destroying it for a few days worth of fun.

The goal of any eCan Administration should be the return of each and every province and territory. If the time is right to strike, or even more favourable than usual, why not beat back our long time oppressors?
I realize that this Admin prefers inaction, and the status quo, but frankly, sometimes, it is up to a country's veteran members to make the hard decisions, especially when a country is saddled with and inept and impudent government.

Sometimes inaction is better than the wrong action. We risk giving credibility to the accusation that Canada is unstable and self destructive.
Meh. Sitting on our hands, when we are being lead by a boob, with a cheater for a MOFA, is self-destructive enough.
All this said, we are a minor power, one that is constantly at the brink of wipe. We might as well show some courage and strike back before the Spoland decides, in a whim, to wipe us again. Feck 'em over a bit, before the feck us.
People tend to forget that Spain was the bully for 8 months and quite the assholes about it.... And now here we are begging the bully to be our friend while still offering them our lunch money out of fear?

The only thing I have been stating, is if we are going to do something, lets do it right. DMV why did the Praetorian Guard almost single handily start the RW in PEI if this is how your feel?
We attempted to start the RW in off peak hours so that there would be a cool down period. I didn't figure Spain would lose to us if it was started during their primetime. It doesn't matter now PG is being deployed to fight for Spain on behalf our President and the interest of our nation long term.

I would argue that "peace and prosperiety" don't go together in eCan or in eRep in general.
During peace all we do is fight each other and tear the country apart. At least during times of war we have a cause to rally behind. People are here for a war game, not Farmville
