Hi! Meet Impetuous, he is one of us

Respected all. And everyone else.

Talking with Impetuous today. Hehe... today.... For the past few days. Anyways, here we go!

BastovanSurcinski:

Impatuous, thank you for your time. Can you tell us a bit about yourself in general, for the starters?

Impetuous:

I am 35 years and 7 months old. High School Graduate and Veteran of the 29th Infantry Division out of Maryland, USA. I'm 6 foot tall and weigh about 200 pounds.

BastovanSurcinski:

What do you like doing, like hobbies, interests... What do you enjoy doing?

Impetuous:

I was a Natural Artist when I was a young kid, t'was named 'gifted and talented' in the Baltimore School System growing up. I even sold art in School for the vending machines in High School, or traded it for SNES/SEGA Video Games. On Deployment I carried a book which I promptly filled up with sketches and doodles, I have it in my attic still. But like my handwriting, ten years of Military work kinda took its toll, and now I can't seem to find the gift these days.

I always liked video games since Atari, and Computer Games, too. Our first family Computer was a Gateway (Cow Box and All) in 1993. Spent a lot of time Playing Classics like Daggerfall through Operation Flashpoint. Had just about every top seller for the 90's. I still play my Steam™ Games on occasion but I can't get them all because I'm on a shitty Laptop these days.

I was big into tabletop Roleplaying Games back in the day mainly Dungeons & Dragons and Shadowrun. My brothers and my cousins were my clique back in those days and we spent a great deal of time together. I didn't make many friends otherwise, pre-Mobilization.

I like to eat, also. Sushi is one of my favorites but so is Peanut Chicken. Asian cuisine is my favorite food, I always order extra green onions when I can.

I smoke Marijuana when I can, helps with the bodily pain.

BastovanSurcinski:

What kind of music do you like? And are there any pictures you hold dear, or some pictures made by other artists that you like?

Impetuous:

I like all sorts of music. Mostly in the language I understand, English. I was big into Nirvana and the Grunge Theme in High School; then fell out of that phase later on after Kurt Cobain "killed himself" (insert conspiracy theory). I kinda switched to Heavy Metal after that. But nowadays I listen to just about anything I can to pass the time.

(Heavy Metal)

(Gangsta Rap)

(Cyberpunk)

(Rap)

(Stoner Rock)

As for Art I make my own avatars with GIMP 2.8.20 here is an example of my work:

I check out digital artwork of a milieu of sites periodically throughout the day for inspiration. That's why I have been known to change my avatar so much (a gross understatement). I like anime art but recently I found the artist 早稻 (Zao Dao) and her book 松風 which translates to Song of Sylvan. Here are some examples of her art:

(The Neolithic Age must have been fun)

BastovanSurcinski:

Why have you chosen eJapan to be your homeland, and what is keeping you here to this day?

Impetuous:

Well, first for a little prehistory. I first discovered eRepublik from an advertisement when I was browsing The Huffington Post back in the Winter of 2008. I can't remember my first account but I made it in December of 2008 in eFrance, Je parle un petit peu français. I was out of work and finishing up my Reserves Duties so I gave it a shot. I didn't come from /v/ like a lot of people per say. I didn't make it far in the game on my first account (I screwed up or wasn't into it at first). My first account I can trace was "Mad Merc" Merc being short for Mercenary. It died then I bounced around from account to account until I made this one in October 09.

I started in eIreland and spent quite a long time there, then I went to the eUSA where I was more tempered into the mysteries of Dioism. After a long time of Military Service in the US I went to ePakistan and spent a great deal more time there. I friended Dioist Prophet William Walker here and tried my best to encourage activity in the eReligion. After some time and more travels in-and-out of Pakistan to various states I chose eJapan as a home. I was with fellow Dioists at the time but a faker who stole AgentChieftan's wiki page made me leave. He has since died but the correction has yet to be fixed on the wiki ಠ益ಠ

I recently came back to Japan after some absences from the game. Though through those absences Padre might remember me as the fgt-senpai Tokihanatsu Shibou. I find the community interesting so-to-say. I like helping Countries succeed and communities flourish like they used to in the old days of eRep. Japan used to have a very nice community back in 2009. So that is what initially brought me here I guess, that and representing Pakistan's Dio-sama.

What makes me stay here is The Formidable International Security Treaty and the People of Earth Associated under Common Excellence. The former more than the latter. I yearn for Japan to be in a better Alliance than a Lazokratocracy. Also the people I have met on "our side" as Silent Warrior puts it are worthy of help and so is the Country in general.

BastovanSurcinski:

Wow... this is a long article already... 🙂

I would call it a day. Would you like to add anything? 😃

Impetuous:

If there are no more questions, no I have nothing more to add. Thanks for the interview.

That's it for now. Other interviews are incoming!

....or so I hope...

Cheers!
