Here We Go

Day 3,670, 14:56 Published in Canada Canada by Thedillpickl

Hi kids!

OK then, starting to get started, but first a little lecture.

Allow me to ask a rhetorical question. Are you playing eRep for admins benifit or your own? D'oh! Your's of course. So why do players, young and old line up to take the highest paying job they can find, find a MU that has a few supplies if you jump through the hoops and then complain that they get nowhere? After all they are playing the game correctly, right?

I don't want to knock most MUs. They do what they can and are a good place to make friends but most of the "stuff" goes to top people. Sounds awful but they send it where it does the most.

However, if you want to get ahead, the best way I know, buy infrastructure. By that I mean acquire game things that don't wear out and provide something you need. Food is a shining example. Nothing happens without energy and that requires food. The #1 thing you can do to begin a path of independence is to start WaMing* your own food. Continue as you have been while building your production facilities. Q2 Food factory plus 3 Cattle Farms or 2 Hunting Lodges. Don't buy several low Q raw material companies as they require energy to WaM, 2 or 3 high Q put out the same raw material with less waste.

Note that you don't need to do this overnight, it will take some time but when accomplished you'll have a solid base to build on. You will never be with no food again.

To financial wizards prepared to bring up ROI**, if I played eRep to get rich I'd still be fussing over foreign markets and production bonuses. I'm here to play not worry over minimal margins.

**Return on Investment

What Next?

Any new players that want to learn more about getting ahead are welcome to PM me. All persons Canadian and less than a year old will be considered for a training position in Pickle's Patriots MU. There you'll be mentored, supplied and helped to advance.

Carry on,
