Heero Blaze in Illinois!

Elections are right around the corner and I have run for Congress yet again! I will be seeking my ninth term in the lovely state of Illinois! By now, I’ve started to become a regular in Congress with more than a third of my time here in eRepublik as a Congressman, though by no means as much a staple as some older citizens. I’m familiar with proper procedures and you won’t see any shenanigans from me.



So what can you expect from electing me?

1. Daily vigilance: As Congressman, I am determined to be ready everyday for whatever challenges await me. The job of a Congressman is to keep the country running, whether that means proposing donations to the Congressional Budget Office, approving mutual protection pacts, or approving the right citizen requests, I will be there to do all that and more.



2. Transparent Government: I believe in keeping the public informed, more specifically keeping the public informed in-game. Five months ago, I introduced a series of articles entitled the Congressional Record. While the series is not perfect, it has attempted to keep the public informed during significant changes in Congress. Its frequency is a testament to the work done by Congress as a whole (more activity, more issues).



3. Experience: I’ve come a long way since my first campaign. Along the way I’ve played my hand at politics, economics, and in the military. Just look at all this experience!
