Gov seeking re-election

Day 4,459, 05:53 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Sir Humphrey Appleby

Afternoon again gents o/,

With the exception of wingfield who has a note from his mother, cabinet has reluctantly agreed to look busy for another month...

It looks like we’re in the middle of a pretty savage slowdown so cheers to PN for throwing his name into the hat and providing what should hopefully be a close and interesting election again.

I’m a bit worried that nobody has put themselves forward for RAF command (which is supposed to be independent of the government). If it’s just a case of needing a bit of encouragement then feel free to drop a line to either Alfa, Harvey, Jiminy or myself and ask for some advice 🙂.

We continue to walk/hang onto the tightrope of international relations… Our peace treaty has been broken several times since signing it in November but the general structure of it remains the same. A couple of clauses are currently being mutually ignored (London occupation/weps bonuses etc), though it would be a mistake to try and renegotiate if the current dynamic remains roughly the same.

Financially we continue to generate slow and steady profits from the monetary market; the discussion on what to spend it on similarly slow but nowhere near as steady… if reelected we’ll start a few tests every now and then to see the potential of programs from other communities here in the UK. And we’ll probably kick off with the ‘q1 house for everyone’ as a starter to get things going…

Otherwise I hope you’re all well your end lads and thanks for your help this month o/. January proved to be a bit of a bumpy ride but bar any last minute surprises I think we should make it to the finish line…
