Hi Folks,
This is the 9th issue where I observe and comment the Gold Price in eRepublik. I think it is only temporarily that the price has slipped off the 3000 currency path. Soon, it will be back on the way towards 4000. Taking bets, anyone?

Before the Gold price went global, the weak currencies were fixed around 1600-1700, the strong currencies were below 1000. In the first days of global gold price, it climbed from initially 1200 to 1400 and fixed around 1600 currency. Today, it varies around the 3000 currency.
1st article - 1st Week - price shooting to 1750 CC!
2nd article - 2nd Week - price shooting again to 1750 CC!
3rd article - 1st Month, price stable around 1650
4th article - price climbing permanently over 1700 CC
5th article - price climbing permanently over 1800 CC
6th article - 2nd Month, price shooting to 2500 CC
7th article - price staying permanently over 2000 CC
8th article - Price staying permanently over 2300.

Dies ist die neunte Ausgabe in der ich den Goldpreis in eRepublik beobachte und kommentiere. Nur vorübergehend ist der Goldpreis von der 3000er Marke abgerutscht, er wird bald wieder unterwegs zur 4000er Marke sein. Wetten?

Bevor der Goldpreis global wurde, wurden die schwachen Währungen um de 1600-1700 gehandelt, die starken Währungen unter 1000. In den ersten Tagen des globalen marktes stieg der Goldpreis dann von zuerst 1200 über 1400 bis schließlich zu 1600 Währung. Er pendelt sich jetzt bei 3000 Währung ein...
1. Ausgabe - 1. Woche, Preis schießt hoch auf 1750 CC!
2. Ausgabe - 2. Woche, Preis schießt erneut hoch auf über 1750 CC!
3. Ausgabe - 1. Monat, Preis stabil um die 1650er Marke.
4. Ausgabe - Preis jetzt permanent über 1700 CC.
5. Ausgabe - Preis steigt permanent über die 1800er Marke.
6. Ausgabe - 2. Monat, preis schießt kurz hoch auf 2500 CC!
7. Ausgabe - Preis jetzt permanent über der 2000er Marke...
8. Ausgabe - Preis jetzt permanent über 2300.

IF we don't rise it through our patterns of buying and selling, the admins will. They need a high gold price in order to make the rockets affordable in comparison with BH/CH combo at least as this is the main drive for everyday soldier to use it.
The question about long term is : overproduction or underproduction?
1)Overproduction in spite of rocket "smelting" might help admins in their quest to make the gold expensive.
2)Underproduction as rockets eat more than we can produce will hinder the admins effort as the market will try to get to an equilibrium: between gold price and rocket cost in gold. And no matter how much admins artificially rise the gold the inflation will catch in (price rise as well). Because they won't be able to print currency through product market, but will try to shorten the gold offer on the market.
I still bet on 1), so admin wins again! : (
