Hi ppl
Since the beginning of my first log in i got attached to the game, the game WAS really funny, i knew lots of friends, Spain was wiping Portugal for a long time.
I knew i was gonna be influent in the game, besides my strength, i invested in erepublik, putted the training grounds at lvl4 and started to train hard almost 2 month after registration.
In about 1 year ago, i started buying all the packs, when they appeared. i don't have a problem in saying “yes, i waste a lot”, i can say i waste more than 2000 euros in the game i guess i’m reaching 3k in a short time. That value to me is a lot.
I bought a lot of factories, i have currently around 90 weapon raw and 12 house raw, all those are 35g each. I had a Q7 factory too but i dissolved to tank more in that day when we had all epic and 8x BH, i thought i was gonna make the Q7 again in the Black Friday promotions… yeah right xD
well, what i wanna say is: Some players think i’m a tank, some thinks i’m a small tanker, some thinks i’m huge tanker. i must say i only buy Blitz pack, Power pack and Assault pack. its around 35e each month. after buying these packs, i also sell some of them to players, with the cc i got, i buy 10g each day, in a month its 300g. with my lvl200 plus i gain 5g each 4 days (rounded) its 35 more gold per month.
Its ok, 335g per month, i use this gold to buy EB’s and waste in battlefield. this is my tanking, 335g per month.
Lot of players are thinking this game is about to end, i think the same and thats why i’m writing this. I’ll still play the game, like i used to play, i’ll still try to buy 10g each day but now because i don't want to invest more, i’ll need to work in my factories again so less ff's to fight. I’ll try to make cc in CO’s enough to buy me Blitz and Power pack because without those packs, EVERY player is useless in battlefield, you simply cant do NOTHING, cant win gold in BH.. Nothing.
I’ll record the times that will shock me, what i’ll need to do to continue to be somebody in the game, to try to maintain the same current tanker i think i am but i must say: this will be hard to maintain, some months i think i wont be able to buy blitz and power pack, simply because the game mechanics doesn't let the “normal” players win.
A note to Erepublik labs: without the “Normal players” the Visa players will stop play because there isn't nothing to fighting for.
Continuing with what i want to do.
Currently i have 394gold.
i have 317047 PTE.
only 247 x1 energy bars.
With this i think i can be able to stay in normal play for more 2 month. After that the struggle will start.
Admins be aware, normal players leave every day, regular visa will stop play without them.
I’m doing this because admins cant even be fair in their own game, even to "visa players".
Do you remember that tournament with objectives that you get PP boosters if you destroy objectives? WELL… the MU where i was did all the objectives, same as other MU’s and because of some “BUG”, other MU’s received double price, doubled PP boosters. i’m still fighting from that tournament till today so admins give the boosters to all, because isn't fair.
I hope some of you that pay their salaries start to think clearly because a game without fairness isn't a game.
Stay tunned because from now on i’ll write about the struggles a normal player have against visa players.

Yep I agree with you. In past I buy all packs too, now I buy only blitz and power pack, and I have a dilemma like you. Cut in pack costs! I am thinking in two ways:
Military - only blitz pack
Economic - only tycoon pack
But.....I love to tank hard. :/

dude...a few years too late.... the admins already saw that the game is ending a long time ago that's why, imo, there were an increase in "packs for real cash"... they couldn't stop the game from slowly dying because it was the nature of the game, it's mechanics doomed it from the start. not having level cap, strenght cap or any other cap's besides your bank account doomed the game... as the gap between old and new players can only be fixed by small patches here and there without really fixing the core of the game there is no other option unless milk this cow for whatever you can while you can... this, or re-write the base of the game and reboot everything but who wants to play from scratch after spending almost 3k€ in a game?! in the almost seven years that i've been here i've spent about 300€ in this game and even I wouldn't want to play from zero again.... i never even played the eRep clones that appeared....
from a guy that's only here because he just cant let go of the memories he had, i hope y'all still have fun in what's left of this game

It really depends on how you try to earn money.
For example, I have invested 0 euros in this game and I'm almost a Legend II. I have 2800 Gold, 3 K tanks, around 300 bars and plenty of damage boosters / accelerators...
But there are a lot of things in this game that "go my way", so I can't really compare myself to the others. Like, when there was that BH x 8 promo, I earned 11 BH medals while fighting for Saudi Arabia, with a Legend bonus... I got all the BH's with around 500 million damage each, nobody tried to steal them, I was the only person fighting, because my hit is the biggest. So I easily gathered 880 Gold in 1 day. 🙂
If you stop buying the Assault Pack (almost worthless), you can play this game with no problems by paying someone to get you the Power Pack and Blitzkrieg Pack every month (these two are obligatory if you're a fighter).
There is a big difference when you play in a country with nonexistent community like Saudi where completion for BH is low. Also your country is not part of any alliance and you are free to act like a mercenary and almost every time choose side with bigger CO. When you are part of some pole you are deprived of that and you lose opportunity to take big money.

Yeah, I agree with what you say. That's why I said that I can't compare myself to the others... I think the Saudi rank bonus alone gives me all the money I need, the CO's are not as useful when you can get all the BH medals you want in your TP battles.
I have a list of countries which I don't fight for, and a list of countries which I consider my personal allies, and which I never fight against, but those 2 lists are quite small, so I am free to choose the side with the bigger CO in most battles.
If you have a lot of allies and a lot of enemies, then your side on the battlefield is usually selected by default in most battles. But still, if you're tactical, you can earn a lot of money, especially in military coups in enemy countries.

You still can earn some money but you need high activity to catch big CO offers and take some BH medals and pay off packs that you invested. That is not if you recall what this game was and advertised. They said before you can play this for 5 minutes and contribute for your country but now 20 players without packs deal damage like one with packs. Its sucks and kills sense of community and team work which was the main factor why people were addicted to this game. You need to pay if you want to play or to be very active to be relevant in battles. Before you can be organised better and win battles and now you just need packs and CO and nothing more. Like you have in Albania currently where one man with lots of money invested will make empire and enslave entire communities. See France falling in few day. Is that the game we want? One man beating hundreds of players just because he pays.

What amazes me more is the amount of people still buying packs to trade for cc.
I am a D3 fighter in I'm getting really tired of this... with the infantry kit the battles are boring... everyday what you see in a lower division battle is someone rushing for the BH on the first minutes. Players that don't have packs can't even dream of getting a BH regularly. I bought the IK+PP the past 3 or 4 months but I think I won't buy anymore, it's getting very depressive...
I fully support this article. Slowly but certainly ''normal'' players are leaving because they are no match for the ''Titans'' with packs and those who invest is this current game-play will find themselves fighting alone in some time. Majority didnt come here to fight for BH's, other medals and boring weekly rewords but for their countries and communities.

I stopped buying 14 months ago... now I'm only online to read articles, do the basic training, produce my weapons and fight a few good rounds...

But I think there's not so much they can do... What Janad0 says is true, the game mechanic is broken. Maybe if they create more "individual" rewards that every player can get, so the ones that can't get BHs can at least fulfill other military goals. Or even return to the work skills and different kinds of goods in the markets, or any other thing that can improve the economic module

I'm a "normal" player, I never bought nothing ingame, just because I can't, but even that way. at the beggining we, the so called normal players, could do much more than now.
The game just suck, it became so partial and difficult it isn't funny anymore

With blitz and pp i can make the same playing.
I guess ill do what a dis one month: some one pay me the packs and have me in their MU for that month

but still... from 2 years already everyone said that the game is ending. and in game there are lots of players buying packs and spending real money for a huge amount of damage in every Plato's tournaments.
so, even if we all believe that the game is doomed, our own ego, our friendships or our enmities are still keeping us on "log on" mode... and we are still pouring money in Plato's pockets...
Just do what I do sucateiro, stop buying this packs and spend the money with your girlfriend,wife in car a new computer etc or in anything that you need, this is just a game ,plato is the boss and he is the only that will stay rich with a smile.
I spent alot of € too in the past, but many of the packs that I bought in the past I used some cash bonus that Galp gave me, a few months I stop let´s say that I stop for a moment and I had the idea why I do not spend this 100€ in something useful like a present to my girlfriend.
Life is short mate and be addicted in a stupid game is like stop eating only to play like a nerd.
Time to time I sell a pack, that 2or3 irl friend ask to sell,my reputation allow me to sell without problem I use thier money and give them the cc with some commission for me..
In my case I play this game to get some fun after a hard work day in my company,if the game start to lose all the fun and the admin only care is to fu... the players then is time to move on to another one.
