FIRST PRESIDENTIAL ARTICLE

Day 837, 01:23 Published in South Africa Australia by RonelI

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who voted for me. My chances seemed dull through most of the day. The tables turned early in the morning when after about a straight hour of sending out messages to citizens, the votes started flooding in.

Congratulations on a well-run, and most importantly clean election to my opponents Greyhunter, Remon777, and Varlosh. You all fought hard, but stayed clean. I liked seeing this and it made me infinitely proud of every citizen in eSA that avoided the dirty politics that sometimes plague Erepublik.

Special thanks to Ines, wizzie_don, and erdwurm. Without you I would have lost interest in the game and never made it this far. I am very fortunate to have friends like you.

Announcements
I'm going to do things a bit different this term than most presidents' do. Rather than choose a group of close friends and associates to staff my cabinet, I am going to have open auditions for the job. I will be "hiring" for the following jobs:
Minister of Economic Affairs
Minister of Information
Minister of Foreign Affairs
Minister of Social Affairs
Minister of Defence
Minister of Security
Governor- RBSA
Governor- eSAHC

All applications should be sent to me by the end of Erepublik Day 839. Included on your application should be any ideas or plans you have that would benefit the position you are applying for, any experience you have in the field, and why I should choose you. Applicants can only apply for ONE position. multiple apps will be thrown out. Make sure you specify in your message to me which position you are applying for. All applicants must be at the minimum: active eSA citiznes, NOT be involved in the government or military of any other country. Until all positions are filled, assume that the temporary Minister is myself.

Changes Starting This Term
As you may have noticed, I am hiring for the position of eSAHC Governor. That is because as of today, eSAHC Chairman Frank Furglar is officially relieved of his duties. I want to wish Frank best of luck in his adventures outside of Erepublik and to have a great wedding and to not worry about the eSAHC. It will be in good hands.

In addition, the CRB is no longer considered to be a "legally binding" document. For now, it will be a temporary handbook while I form the Freedom Commitee to participate in the writing of the eSouth African Constitution.

I will hold off on making an announcement regarding the IRC channel until I do some more research on the matter. My office will always be open to our citizens so if anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me or ask below.

In regards to the people pointing fingers because the person they voted for didnt win PLEASE. I've had enough of this and this is exactly why I ran. To stop this. "If you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all"~my mum.

I wont telerate the instigating of trouble so anytime you want to start a fight, remember what my mum said.
