Fear Not, the Dictaker is Here to Save Us!

Dear citizens of the United Kingdom,


Two days ago, admins surprised all of us with the military coup module and new type of governance, the Dictatorship. The main problem was the rule that anyone, regardless of their citizenship can fight in other country's coup. All (s)he needs to do is join the military unit.

Because of this the government was quick to react and organize a preventive military coup in order to give us some safety until this rule is changed. Right now the coup is almost over and I call you to please help our allies in Germany who are fighting a hostile foreign PTO coup. Move to Midtjylland, join a German MU and fight for democracy:



Since the Germans were forced to spend a great deal of money just to defend opening rounds please try not to take their CO. Who knows how much they got left and another coup can quickly start after the current one is over.


What's next for us? (my proposition)


If admins do not change citizenship requirement rule, the proposition is to continue as we've done until now, with the Country President, Congress, party politics etc.


How would this work?


Country President (CP)


Since CP and Congress elections will be held regardless of the type of governance, the Dictator would appoint the elected CP as the new Dictator.


Congress


Congress will continue to work as it has been so far. In-game Congress messages will be created and the Congressmen will be able to propose laws and if there is no major disagreements, the laws will be voted by the Dictator.

All elected Congressmen will get 5 gold (since under Dictatorship they get no gold for medals).


Impeachment


If two thirds of Congress decide that the Dictator has been breaking rules or they wish to go back to 'Democracy' type of mechanism, a revolution will be started.

Same applies if Dictator refuses to give over the Command to the newly elected CP.

The Dictator can also resign in the event of RL problems and Congress can vote on new CP.


All of this would need to be agreed with the majority of top military units to get as closest as possible to national consensus.


Dapper's MU, his accounts, accomplices and himself will of course not count as they are already on the black list given to all top 5 Party Presidents and Congress weeks ago. If he or his supporter win the seat for Congress or CP, it will be as if he never participated in the election.


Benefits


So until admins fix the new module, we should make the best of this crap change. While keeping the same functionality as before we can get rid of troll Congress laws, see how each Congressman is voting and greatly reduce the number of Dapper's multis. It will encourage Don Dapper to spend more of his time publishing funny lunatic articles instead of creating new accounts. Party PTOs will also become pointless. After most of voting multis die, our average level should rise.


This is my proposition and it would be the best if all or the most PPs, MU Commanders and Cabinet members agree in the following days on the way forward and exact rules. Until then we're safe from foreign meddling.
