eRep in Maps Day 2277 - PLEASE BE MY FRIENDS!

Day 2,277, 12:33 Published in USA USA by General Cornrow Wallace

Christ it has been a while. I forgot all about this paper. Actually, the reason I stopped doing this was because of that map feature they placed on the homescreen, or whatever you call it. That basically made this paper obsolete, since you could just find the battles yourself, which was one of the main reasons I actually wrote it. But whatever, I'm only REALLY doing this so I can perhaps get 10 new friends for this idiotic mission, it'll give me some crappy reward anyway but whatever, FRIEND ME DAMMIT! Let's go.

We'll start in Canada, where three battles are currently underway.

The US has invaded their one time ally, way back in the days of the Brolliance, and are currently attempting to conquer Nova Scotia, coming off a win in Quebec. The US is currently leading 54-37.

The aforementioned province is currently embroiled in its own battle, attempting to liberate themselves from their recent occupation. It is not faring well for Le Resistance, who are down 25-8 to the Americans.

Spain is also continuing their invasion/occupation of Canada, with an assault on Ontario, where they are cruising with a 63-3 lead.

We head down to South America, where only two battles are underway.

Well, actually, only one apparently, as Argentina secured Southern Low Amazon, retaining possession of the region of Peru.

Brazil continues to struggle as well, although managing to liberate a few regions, they have all quickly fallen to Argentina, who has conquered them fully. Argentina now attempts to finish off Brazil in Rio Grande do Sul, where Argentina currently leads 11-0.

We head off now to Europe, specifically the Iberian Penninsula, where we fins Spain on it's last legs in a lopsisded campaign and Portugal recovering from a recent American invasion.

After the recent shakeup in the Alliance business, one time allies Romania and Spain are at war, with Romania rolling through the Spanish mainland. They currently are underway in Extremadura, where Romania is leading 22-0. I don't know why Romania has 2x influence though. So if someone could answer that I'd appreciate it.

After getting wiped by the US, Portugal has rejoined the map, regaining a couple of their lost regions. The Portuguese currently lead a resistance in Norte, where they lead 22-0.

We head just a bit North, where plenty of battles are raging throughout Europe.

Up in the top left, we see the Irish fighting a resistance war with the US, which the Irish did win. They now fight a new resistance war in Cork, where the battle is still in its infancy, with the scores at 0-0.

France finds itself under constant occupation, from both Serbia and Poland, but they continue to fight for freedom. They're currently attempting to liberate Upper Normandy, are the resistance is currently leading 64-4.

The French are also fighting in Midi-Pyrenees, attempting to free the region from Serbia, but are having less success on this front, as Serbia is leading 18-4.

Belgium is also in the midst of their own resistance war against Poland, attempting to liberate Flanders, where the resistance is leading 30-3.

Germany has declared war on Slovenia, and the battle has begun in Deutschschweiz where fighting is fierce for such an early campaign. Slovenia holds an early 5-3 lead.

Not content to just invade their new neighbor, Germany is also fighting Poland at home, attempting to free the region of Bavaria. The resistance is currently in the lead here, 39-26.

Slovenia also finds itself embroiled in a war with Croatia, where fighting is taking place in Burgenland, with Slovenia crushing Croatia 71-6.

Bosnia continues to attempt to free herself from Serbian occupation, launching a resistance war in Brcko District. Serbia is cruising in this battle, leading 54-1.

We continue to head north, and a bit East, to find this region of Europe just as embroiled in war as the last one.

Up on the left you can see Sweden and the United Kingdom locked in a resistance war in Bohus, which has been fierce. The UK currently holds a slim 23-21 lead over the Swedes.

The Swedish are also engaging Lithuania in battle, as they attempt to invade Lithuania Minor, but the Lithuanians are rolling so far, with a sizable 32-1 lead.

Latvia and Belarus are both locked into a pair of battles with each other. The first is a conventional battle in Zemgale, where Belarus is leading 44-22.

The second battle between these two countries is a Latvian resistance war in Vidzeme, where Belarus is also leading 39-27.

Up on the right, just a tiny bit out of frame we can see Russia attempting to liberate Volga Vyatka from Argentina, where the resistance is cruising with a 61-3 lead.

Down in the Balkans, we find two battles underway.

Macedonia just recently liberated itself from Greece, but find themselves back under invasion, with the Greeks crushing them in Western Macedonia
71-6.

Bulgaria is attempting to liberate itself from Romanian occupation, starting a resistance war in Vidin. They are having no luck, especially with that 2x influence the Romanians possess, and are down 33-0.

India continues to fight Croatia, attempting to regain her stolen regions. Things are not looking good for India, as they are down to one region, which is currently under assault, and Croatia is rolling with a 64-2 lead.

Down in the Middle East, we see a trio of resistance wars underway.

The United Arab Emirates currently fights in two of these attempts. The first is against Albania, who have control of the region of Dubai, where the Albanians are leading the resistance 39-5.

The second is a resistance war in Umm al Quuwain, which is under Turkish occupation. The resistance is not faring any better here, as they are down 29-4.

The third battle takes place in Tabuk, a Saudi region under Turkish occupation. The resistance here faces the same uphill battle as their UAE brethren, as they are down 24-4.

Down in Australia, the Roos find themselves in two battles, while the Kiwis are locked into one. All with the same opponent.

The first Australian battle is a Chilean attempt to reconquer Northern Territory. The Chileans are currently leading the battle 11-0.

The second battle between these two countries is a resistance war in South Australia, where the Aussies find themselves up 38-6.

New Zealand is also fighting a resistance war against Chile, this one in the region of Auckland. This one is not faring well for the Kiwis, as they are down 51-15.

A few battles that may have not been on the maps:

-Ukrainian resistance attempts to liberate Bassarabia from Hungary. Hungary leads 54-21.
-Iranian resistance attempts to liberate Hormozgan from Turkey. The resistance leads 55-0.
-South African resistance attempts to liberate Eastern Cape from Argentina. The battle is at 0-0.

And a long running tradition on ESPN 8, a sexy lady for those who made it this far.

I'm sure she's very excited about reading my article.
