Epic moments in aviation - Part 6

Day 2,729, 06:18 Published in Romania Argentina by L E V I A T A N

Welcome my friends! once again and after some time of recess we meet in this place to be amazed by the beautiful moments an airplane can create.

But before going further, I'll recommend you to see the previous articles if you didn't, so you can experience more of this unmatched feeling 🙂
Here you have the link to the previous article, and at the end of this one I'll put the list with all the articles I published so far: Epic moments in aviation - Special Edition

Okay enough with the emotional words and lets go with the action!

1- History through airplanes

We're used to read history through books or articles in newspapers, but aviation fans can also SEE history through different airplanes like in this Photo, from left to Right: North American F-86 Sabre first flight in 1947. McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II first flight in 1958. North American P-51 Mustang first flight in 1940. And Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor first flight in 1997.

2- Taxing near a creek

The pilots of the Swiss Air Force are very lucky as they can enjoy beautiful and breathtaking landscapes from the air and also from the ground as this Northrop F-5E Tiger II proves it.

3- The spotters neighborhood

This place has the honor to be directly below the landing path of the San Diego International Aiport. In this particular case we can see a McDonnell Douglas MD-82 flying above the houses while making its approach to the runway.

4- The return of the king ugly fellow

After a while from its last appearence, the Airbus A300-600ST Beluga returned! in this case while giving birth to a new airplane, we do not know if the Antonov An-124 at the upper right of the screen is the father, stay tunned for more info (?

5- Eskimo kissing

Perspective is fun many times, like in this picture in which wee can see two Queens (Boeing 747) doing an eskimo kiss, but don't worry, they are on different taxing roads as you can notice the left Queen is slightly bigger than the one at the right side.

6- Bussy Highway

In this photo we can see the landing path of Heatrow International Aiport in London, leaded by an Airbus A-319. In this kind of airports there is a landing and a take off each minute, so precise timing and a good first try landing is always helpful for everyone.

7- Get down!

Despite looking awesome this is rather common in Tegucigalpa Airport, in Honduras; but of course we are not from there so we can enjoy it! an moreover we can SEE it in this video. That Boeing B-757 is surely beautiful.

8- Saint Maarten is back!

It is not a complete article without Maho beach on it, in this picture we can see an ATR 72-200 landing, and ofc it's always good to see the safety point of view as this sign warns pedestrians and enthusiasts not to stay right in the landing path, if you want to do it anyway, consider this before.

9- Take me to the moon

Perspective do its move again as we see this Boeing 747-400 flying to the moon. Despite being at high altitude (as we can judge for the contrails) it's sadly not enough to go there for real 🙁

10- The real paradise

I'm sure if the paradise exists it will be pretty much like this place, nothing more relaxing than a lake surrounded by mountains, and ofc why not a De Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver so you can also enjoy the paradise from above.

Well, this is where we must part ways, I hope you enjoyed as much as I and ofc, here are the previous articles so you can give them a look.
