Entrevista con Era Alper [Dictador de eSudáfrica y Comandante de Lazocracy Africa]

The Military Units are a group of important reference for many citizens of the New World. The common objectives of its members, the capacity to damage, experience, organization and team spirit of a MU may be reflected in the battlefield but also in the ability to take power in any of the countries the New World. The Dictator of eSouth Africa and Commander Lazocracy Africa can tell us something about this. Thank the interviewee this occasion for the answers and great collaboration with my newspaper.

Las Unidades Militares son un grupo de referencia importante para muchos ciudadanos del Nuevo Mundo. Los objetivos en común de sus miembros, la capacidad de daño, la experiencia, la organización y el espíritu de grupo de una MU puede verse reflejado dentro del campo de batalla pero también en la habilidad para tomar el poder en alguno de los países del Nuevo Mundo. La Dictador de eSudáfrica y Comandante de Lazocracy África puede contarnos algo sobre esto. Agradezco a la entrevistada de esta ocasión por las respuestas y gran colaboración con mi periódico.

Luke Skywalker (LS) - How are you? In what place, city, you going to enjoy the New Year's party?

¿ Cómo estás? ¿En qué lugar, ciudad, vas a disfrutar la celebración de Año Nuevo?


Era Alper (EA) - I am very fine a little busy with the end of year tasks but it is ok, thank you.
I will be in Dubai for the new year celebrations, one of the best places to be this time of the year i hereby would like to wish a peaceful, happy new year to everyone

Estoy muy bien, un poco ocupada con las tareas de fin de año. Pero estoy bien, gracias.
Voy a estar en Dubai para las celebraciones del año nuevo, uno de los mejores lugares para estar en esta época del año. Por este medio me gustaría desearles paz y feliz año nuevo a todos.




LS - Why did you choose develop your game in the MU Lazocracy?

¿Por qué eligió desarrollar su juego en la MU Lazocracy?


EA - I signed up to eRepublik in 2010 after i read a news in one of the major newspaper of Turkey it was telling ''Turkey is under attack'' i read the article and the explanations of the Turkish players that the newspaper interviewed such as how to sign up and what to do as your first steps in eRepublik. That was one of the biggest babybooms of ehistory. Thousands of people started playing the game that day but more important thing i observed was that most of the Turkish experienced players were trying to answer all the needs of the ''babies'' by answering all their questions and needs with donations. I observed their passion to the game and i said this looks like a game worth playing. After some time i realized that most of those players that helped me and others were from a military unit called Lazocracy. Whenever a critical time arise in a battle, Turkish players were looking at the battle ground to see some Lazocracy members, if they show up we knew that we will win. Those days it became my edream to become a lazocracy member. Probably this was the edream of all the other ebabies of that boom.

Me apunté a eRepublik en 2010 después de leer una noticia en uno de los principales periódicos de Turquía que decía '' Turquía está bajo ataque ''. Leí el artículo y las explicaciones de los jugadores turcos que el diario entrevistó, como la forma de inscribirse, qué hacer y cómo son los primeros pasos en eRepublik. Ese fue uno de los mayores babybooms de la ehistoria. Miles de personas comenzaron a jugar el eRepublik luego de ese día. Pero lo más importante que observé fue que la mayoría de los jugadores turcos experimentados estaban tratando de responder a todas las necesidades de los ''nuevos''. Al responder todas sus preguntas y necesidades con las donaciones, percibí su pasión por el juego y me dije que esto parece algo que merece la pena jugar. Después de un tiempo me di cuenta de que la mayoría de esos jugadores que me ayudaron eran de una unidad militar llamada Lazocracy. Cada vez que surgía un momento crítico de la batalla, los jugadores turcos estaban buscando en el campo de batalla ver algunos de los miembros Lazocracy, si ellos aparecían sabíamos que íbamos a ganar. Esos días motivaron en mí el esueño de convertirme en un miembro de Lazocracy. Probablemente este fue el esueño de todos los demás “nuevos” de aquel babyboom.




LS - Can any player be a member of Lazocracy? What are the requirements?

¿Cualquier jugador puede ser miembro de Lazocracy? ¿Cuáles son los requisitos?


EA - Everyone is welcome to apply for membership but we have some serious preconditions and conditions to become a Lazocrat such as: Self sufficiency, clean game history, being a fighter over average (ability to take battle hero medals regularly), passing a tough trial period, taking the approval of Lazocracy board.

Todo el mundo es bienvenido a solicitar la membresía pero tenemos algunas condiciones previas y serias para convertirse en un Lazocrat, tales como: autosuficiencia, historia de juego limpio, ser un fighter por encima del promedio (capáz de tomar medallas BH regularmente), pasar un difícil periodo de juicio y tener la aprobación de la junta Lazocracy.




LS - How did you become Dictator of eSouth Africa and Commander of the Military Unit? What steps you followed to achieve this position in the game?

¿Cómo llegaste a ser Dictador de eSudáfrica y Comandante de la Unidad Militar? ¿Qué pasos ha seguido para alcanzar esta posición en el juego?


EA - Lazocracy is a liberal, democratic, elite military unit based on sharing. We believe every member has a part in the management and should naturally become a member of board. Just after the announcement of dictatorship we decided with the majority of votes in favor, to protect e South Africa that we are governing from external dictatorship attempts. We were a little late to apply this decision but at the end we took the dictatorship but with a condition: Instead of having a single dictator we decided to assign different dictators among volunteer players from the board.

Lazocracy es una liberal y democrática Unidad Militar de élite basada en el compartir. Creemos que cada miembro tiene un papel en la gestión y, naturalmente, debe convertirse en un miembro de la junta. Justo después del anuncio de la posibilidad de instaurar dictaduras decidimos, con la mayoría de votos a favor, proteger eSudáfrica de intentos de dictadura externas. Aplicamos un poco tarde esta decisión, pero al final iniciamos la dictadura, aunque con una condición: En lugar de tener un solo Dictador decidimos asignar diferentes dictadores entre los jugadores voluntarios de la junta.




LS - What country or Military Unit considered the greatest enemy of eSouth Africa/Lazocracy?

¿Qué país o Unidad Militar consideras el mayor enemigo de eSudáfrica / Lazocracy?


EA - Lazocracy was founded in eTurkey and for long years Lazocracy represented eTurkey in international area, participated the management of eTurkey and carried the leader mu flag of eTurkey as one of the most prestigious military units of eWorld. This responsibility and power had a cost, each and every Lazocrat facilitated all their resources to the use eTurkey without any expectation of return. These great sacrifices were forgotten after loss of some battle and land, moreover Lazokracy was blamed for the loss ungratefully by a major part of the e country. Initially this situation was accepted with sorrow by Lazocracy without an official reply to the blames. This silence caused the other mus to find a chance to urge the people of eTurkey against Lazocracy where blames became sneer and swearing. Upon these, Lazocracy immediately decided and announced that they are not supporting eTurkey under these circumstances. This announcement caused a major public reaction, unexpectedly eTurks started blaming Lazocracy with traitory and corruption along with more swearing with the urge of some triggerman journalists. This was the final drop that led Lazocracy leave eTurkey for good. We lived peacefully in eAmerica and eSerbia for some time. After a while Lazocracy board decided to reside in e South Africa. As you will understand from the above history of Lazocracy, our greatest enemy is eTurkey.

Lazocracy fue fundada en eTurquía. Durante largos años Lazocracy representaba a eTurquía en el área internacional. Participó en la gestión de eTurquía, llevando el líder de la MU la bandera de eTurquía, siendo una de las unidades militares más prestigiosas del eMundo. Esta responsabilidad y el poder tuvieron un costo, todos y cada Lazocrat facilitaron todos sus recursos al servicio de eTurquía, sin esperar nada a cambio. Estos grandes sacrificios fueron olvidados después de la pérdida de la una guerra y regiones. Por otra parte Lazokracy fue con ingratitud culpado de la derrota por la mayor parte del epaís. Inicialmente esta situación fue aceptada con tristeza por Lazocracy, sin una respuesta oficial a la acusación. Este silencio causó que otras MUs hayan encontrado la oportunidad para instar a la población de eTurquía contra Lazocracy, donde culpa se convirtió en desprecio e insultos. Tras esto, Lazocracy inmediatamente decidió y anunció que no continuarían apoyando a eTurquía en estas circunstancias. Este anuncio provocó una reacción pública importante, inesperadamente eturcos comenzaron a culpar a Lazocracy de traidores y corruptos, junto a esto se agregaron las ganas que nos tenían algunos periodistas sicarios. Esta fue la gota final que llevó a Lazocracy dejar eTurquía para siempre. Vivimos en paz entre eAmérica y eSerbia durante algún tiempo. Después de estar así, Lazocracy decidió residir en eSudáfrica. Como se puede entender a partir de la historia anterior de Lazocracy, nuestro mayor enemigo es eTurquía.




LS - Do you think the game was better without the possibility of Dictatorship? Or do you think that the Dictatorship was a favorable change in the military module?

¿Cree usted que el juego era mejor sin la posibilidad de la Dictadura? ¿O crees que la Dictadura fue un cambio favorable en el módulo militar?


EA - Dictatorship was a great idea that could be filled with a lot of strategic elements. I think this great opportunity and idea was not fully realized by the management of eRepublik. On the other hand by considering the effort of eRepublik admins on simplification and militarization of eRepublik by disabling (or minimizing) other modules such as economy module, i believe that being on the positive side will encourage the admins to enable and add such additions in the future so: Dictatorship was a positive addition to the military module as it is even though we are not using it nowadays as it is meant to be.

La Dictadura fue una gran idea que podría completarse con una gran cantidad de elementos estratégicos. Pienso que esta gran oportunidad y la idea no fueron plenamente realizadas por los administradores de eRepublik. Por otro lado, considerando el esfuerzo de estos administradores del juego en la simplificación y la militarización de eRepublik mediante la desactivación (o minimización) de los otros módulos, como el módulo de la economía, creo que poniéndome del lado positivo esto animará a los administradores a permitir y añadir dichas adiciones en el futuro, así que: La Dictadura fue un agregado positivo al módulo militar, a pesar de que no lo estamos utilizando hoy en día cómo está destinado a ser.




LS - I see that there is an alliance called as the MU Are you planning to take power in some other country and expand its members?

Veo que hay una alianza llamada como la MU ¿Están pensando en tomar el poder en algún otro país y ampliar sus miembros?


EA - Lazocracy alliance was created to announce that we are not looking for an alliance and we are happy alone, i ahve to mention that your ideas about expanding seams like a good idea i will take this idea to board to discuss 🙂

La alianza Lazocracy fue creada para anunciar que nosotros no estamos buscando una alianza y estamos felices solos. Debo mencionarla a su idea acerca de la expansión como una buena idea que tomaré en cuenta para subir a discusión 🙂




LS - How is the relationship with the neighboring countries of eArgentina, eBrazil and eUruguay? Do you have treaties or agreements with these countries?

¿Cómo es la relación con los países vecinos de eArgentina, eBrazil y eUruguay? ¿Tienen tratados o acuerdos con estos países?


EA - We have good relations with all our neighbours. We have a longlasting friendship and MPP with e Argantina,

Tenemos buenas relaciones con todos nuestros vecinos. Tenemos una amistad duradera y MPP con eArgentina.
