1) – The Presidential Elections

Yeah, I’m writing about this again, so shoot me 😛 Like I said last week, this is shaping up to be a huge battle, and one that’ll certainly be one for the records.

Oblige: Our current PoTUS, two times CP, godly, and has an achievement list longer then everyone’s arms! This man has led a team that has ushered in America’s greatest times in a long while. While not everyone may like him, you have to give it to the man that he has helped place the US’s pride at an all time high. He’s introducing old faces and new faces into his cabinet this term, and here’s a brief run down of his team –

Vanek26: Our current NSC Chairman, been in the position for 7 months (Is he a piece of furniture? j/k) and all around awesomesauce tactician. Some could argue that the main force behind our amazing military conquests is this man right here. His running is completely warranted, and if anything, has galvanised interest in politics as he’s certainly had a lot of talking/arguing going on. This isn’t a bad thing, it’s very good, it encourages debating and leads to a better race. A brief rundown of his staff –

Aeriela: Now here’s an interesting person … and a well known one for not only being a former CP (of Canada), but more importantly the Co-Host on the (in)famous Pirate Bay Radio (run by Dirty Scarlet Silverbeard). While the goddess hasn’t served in a cabinet here yet, the experience as a CP will no doubt be invaluable in this race. Their cabinet (so far) is –

2) – AMP Food Giveaway!

Yes, you’ve probably heard it from two other papers by now, but I need to do my bit for the party, so here you go! Basically, AMP will, on Saturday 4th (tomorrow), be handing out free food! Now, I won’t reveal figures, but this will be our biggest ever giveaway, bigger then the usual runs by our Party President. What are the rules? –

* - You must be a US Citizen.
* - Must join #amp (The channel, not the party, although that’s always a nice thing :3)
* - Must say "I LOVE AMERICA" (Don’t say it, don’t get food)
Also we will be hosting some games such as the decedant Trivia! … UNO! … and HANGMAN!

So remember people, that’s Saturday, 4th of February … All throughout the day!

Todays Guest! – Eric Vanderberg

I don't play the game as much as many of you do but I do notice some of the goings on in this game. I witnessed the impeachment of Uncle Sam, I saw a Scar serve 3 terms, I lived through the Dio revolution, I saw the eUS nearly get wiped several times and I lived through the various alliances the eUSA has gone through. In each of those instances, I served proudly in the eUS National Guard. A few months back I approached someone I respected and asked them about going further in this game. They offered kind words of advice but when they noticed I was a member of the National Guard they told me "Your in a branch I don't approve of".
We may not be a branch with a storied history as Seal Team 6, we may not be as big or as strong as our brothers in the Army or Airborne but we are a strong, closely knit unit of soldiers who care as much about this country and it's path as the President himself. I proudly serve as a Lieutenant in the eUSNG and I would not trade my time in there for any amount of gold. I have had an opportunity to with my fellow guardsmen and brothers in arms in the eUS Military to wipe our enemies off the map and to make the United States the best country in the eWorld. I'm sorry if you don't approve of the job we do or believe what we do makes a difference, but we will remain 'Always Ready, Always There'.
