Yes, it's the moment you have all been waiting for, the announcement of the eIreland Community Awards for the month of June 2011. There has been an unusually high level of interest in the results this month. We have had many shouts, comments and PMs lately asking wtf gives with the Awards?? Thanks for your patience. We decided to keep the results on ice while the RW Lottery was underway, and then found ourselves in Manifesto Season. Now all that nasty auction politics is over the Ministry of Community has run out of excuses. So on with the show!

Once again, the magnificent banners have been prepared by Luminara. The Minister of the Month award introduces a new face, Douglas Hyde. As a tribute to the first president of Ireland and founder of the Gaelic League which promoted the Irish language, the entire banner is designed in Irish only.
