Oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ

Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please. Mark Twain

I was long out of this game and when I did return I changed my nick name (or was it before ?),. However, I do understand some of you did not know anything about me (I’m not such an important person, anyhow), especially those who came in this game when I was … missing (but some elders too). Nevermind.
Also, CP candidacy (in my previous article) was meant to shake a little the established order that is in eIndia, somehow to force those leading the country to try to change something, like when you hit the bush to scare the snakes.
And about that, I assure you I will never run for CP in eIndia. I got my terms elsewhere and I’m not (really, not) curious about politics and power.

In this series (eIndia) I will try to give best advices I could according to my knowledge, to anyone interested, about how I think the game could be improved and eIndia became a more powerful and joinable country.
First of all, the facts. (I do that because I, myself, try to get used with what it is today)

eIndia is a medium low country, average citizen having level 26 (comparing to world medium level which is 43).
We have 257 citizens ( 😮 ) and from them about 10 are online in the evening.
Unfortunately we have (only) 4 regions, and no province is related to capital (which is now in North Eastern India (this game is weird so this region comprise Sikkim, Meghalaya, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagalnd and Manipur – pretty much all Eastern Europe altogether). The eIndia original regions are 19, so, now we are under a quarter of our regions. [check more on wiki eIndia

Military Units – MU (which are a kind of engine of the game -especially to younger players and those that came from Travian 😃 ) truly of eIndia are few.
The classic Azad Hind Fauj and, a very good idea (calvin seems to be responsible for it) National Defence Academy.
This Academy should gather all the newcomers and to make them used with the game, make them part of a society and a group and so on.

MU’s are very important not only because they could assist and support new players, but there players tend to form opinions too and this will reflect in them future behave in all the fields of the game, including politics.
Friendships could be made there and a lot of …common language, that will unite players in the future.

Sure, some could chose to play the game in a different way, becoming politicians (I noticed those days that all want to be Dictators), owning economical empire or just write in the media (it is long since I did not read a nice story in eIndia – that remember me

Now, about wars and such, eIndia never was a power. Her history is full of episodes of conquest and ruling of others in most or all original regions.
In a strange way, eIndia never matched, here, the numbers she have in RL. Lack of players was always THE problem of eIndia.

Another strange behavior that eIndia have here, is that she never took the opportunity to create a Baby Boom using RL tensions (like India – Pakistan, or India – China). Regarding that it is to know that major powers of today eWorld (like Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, etc) created them BB effect on those kind of tensions with them neighbours. A different pattern.

Politics in eIndia was and is … centralized, so to say. The main argument for that was the continuous threat from outside and the need of unity of all citizens (first successful name of the party was India United).
This kind of politics assured the interior strength (especially against political takeovers) and a kind of coordination but, also, lead in time to a kind of social stratification. Citizens who could and did accede to power and those who did not.

Many eCountries are governed, in fact, by some sort of Head Quarters that rely on the military power of some MU, who empowered them leaders to take a seat in those ruling structures.
In eIndia there are not so many citizens and, as you have seen already, not so much MU’s. Still, a kind of power circle exist here too.

To end with this, it is to say that now eIndia is renting regions, avoiding conflicts and, generally, stay bellow the water level to survive decently.
She have not the power to change that and, I suspect, get used with this situation (which are the same for years now).

Now, remember my promise ?
… my actual plan is to offer 100 gold prize (10 gold for each winner – there will be 10 topics) for you all who write an article, and promote it to media, web’s, blogs, etc., regarding the might (to be) of eIndia, the glorious moments of it in this game, the bright future we could have here.
Try to document well your writings, to make them logical and full of sense (better than you do with a school homework). Make them convincing, like you are running for the Town Hall of your own city/village.
If you put all your efforts on it, I’m sure the community will reward you even more than I could do.
So, this is my proposal to you.
A lot of work, little gain but huge fame, if you succeed.

Today subject for the prize of 10 gol😛
- Describe the situation of eIndia, how you perceive it, in such a manner to convince as many other Indians to join the game –

I expect links in comments to this article to prove how and where you promoted your plea for a stronger and greater eIndia.
There will be no second prize and the decision will be made by me and supervised by other 3 players I will chose.
For each topic you have 10 days.

Waiting for your opinions and debate ... and especially for your articles and promotion campaigns …
