EDEN, lets think about this again.

Day 1,828, 20:48 Published in South Africa South Africa by WastelandENT

Hello eSA,

I come to you today to re-think the subject of joining EDEN. UP leadership has convened with the leadership of other parties and we have talked about it. This is what we have come up with.

Reasons to join EDEN.

1. We found out that we don't need to sign an MPP with every country in EDEN which throws the money argument out the window.

2. If you have been paying attention to international news lately you will see that Greece has been attacked by Macedonia and Bulgaria and is not only defending its territory but has struck back and taken territories from Macedonia and Bulgaria, this is thanks to EDEN's help.

3. It would not violate our treaty with Brazil

4. And most importantly it would give eSA fights pretty much daily. This will help increase interest and activity in eSA and gives us all a chance to gain experience and earn medals for precious gold.

One of the most popular arguments against joining EDEN is "why try to get into an alliance that doesn't want you" well to that I say, lets leave it up to EDEN. If we approach them and tell them we are serious and we are ready to be part of EDEN and they say no, then we come up with a new plan. But why just say that they don't want us so we shouldn't try to join. I know this has been attempted in the past and they rejected eSA but that was exactly that, the PAST. If we don't attempt something because it might fail, then we will never get anything accomplished.

Once the new congress is voted on and put into office I will put this up for a 24 hour discussion again. Lets have a real debate about this and get some support behind it and get eSA moving forward again.

Also, while I'm on the subject of congress, I would love to see Mark Morcom's idea of releasing old documents to the public get some support behind it and get put into action.

As always, thank you for reading eSA!
