Economy Quicktip -:- The importance of full bonus resource regions

Day 3,802, 06:30 Published in Ireland Ireland by Releasethe Krakken

Lets take District of Cmlombia which has
5% Grain + 3% Fruit + 4% Cattle + 6% Deer = 18%

Total Productivity = 100%(base_productivity) + 100%(country_bonus) + 18%(region_bonus) + 0%(individual_booster) - 25%(pollution) = 193% (93% productivity bonus)

Now also remember to get the region bonus we divide by 5

Now at the moment the District of Colombia or Capitol Hill is occupied so the bonuses would be those of Croatia.

Now with my other regions which was based on the strenght of USA bonuses they were all in none bonus regions. Meaning I still get the base 100% but then its dependent on say Bulgaria who doesnt have 100% bonuses.

And this illustrates exactly why like with the pollution dilemma its better to fix your post to a full resource regions.

The pollution dillemma works like this : In USA one could get a better percentage in a non bonus regions because you get say 100 + 100 country bonus versus 193% that one get in full resource region HOWEVERif you go past a certain threshold pollution becomes 25% in the non bonus region and you basically get 175% versus 193%.

But with the USA wiped and at almost no bonuses we actually see the power of the full resource region. Croatia holds DC so they get an additional 90% towards their food country bonus and only needs fish the very common resource to gain a full 100%.

If the USA took back DC they would still have 190% +18% - 25% = 183%

So the tip is very simple if your worried about warfare affecting bonuses park your factories in a full region bonus for the least bonus you will get is 183%.
