So ladies and gentlemen in the spirit of giving I'd like to present to you another little bit of information that has made my eRep life just a bit more comfortable.

Now this isn't the fastest way to make yourself financially independent, but it is a start. Just a few months (yes my friend, I said months) into this I can afford to train with gold each day and still put a few ducats aside to save for the next round.

So the plan goes as follows:

Step 1: Save $8500
Yes I know this is a lot of money but the average salary without communing in the eUS is around $200USD per day. Because you want that awesome 5 gold from working 30 days in a row you should have saved enough in about 42 days. If you work as manager (WAM) in your grain and Q1 food that should drop it down a few days.


Step 2: Buy a land and a saltpeter mine. This is only the case when the USD to gold ratio is less than $750 to one gold.


Step 3: Work as manager (WAM) in your saltpeter mine.

Step 4: ????????

Just kidding! Sell your Weapons Raw Materials (WRM) on the market. Don't feel pressured to undercut the market. If you have patience you can get a decent profit. Expect to keep your goods on the market for at least 24 hours. If they sell right away your prices might be too low. People like me scan the market and buy underpriced goods and resell for a (minimal) profit.

Step 5: Wash, rinse, repeat. If you stick with it (and pray to Dio the wigs don't change anything) you'll be able to buy enough gold to train each day. Even further down the road you'll be able to buy multiple land and saltpeter per day. From there it's smooth sailing in the economic realm of eRep.
