Demographics of the Alliances with the new Divisions

Day 2,291, 13:59 Published in Portugal Cuba by Varia.

In this article I analyze the demographics in eRepublik, with the new divisions system.
The data was collect from egov, in the day 27 of February of 2014, about eDay 2290.

As we know, in a round each division has its own battle. The points in the table have the percentage in the right, so that we can get the full image of the importance of each division.

In this table we can see the population of eRepublik, according to egov.

First thoughts are that Division 1 contributes with 9% for each round and the amount of players there corresponds to 62% of Total. So it’s almost 2/3 of all players fighting for less than 1/10 of the total amount of points.
In the opposite side, Division 4 contributes with 45% for each round and the amount of players there corresponds to 5% of Total. Meaning, that almost half of the amount of points in a round is decided by 1/20 of all the players in eRepublik.

In the tables below eW% represents the percentage of that country population by comparison to the total amount in eRepublik. The Divisions percentage is in comparison with the eRepublik total for that particular division.
eC% gives the weight that each Division have in that country.

Pro-Asteria countries

Pro-Sirius countries

There’s plenty of data to analyze, I only want to get your attention that countries with older communities end up being extremely favored.
Take the example of Poland. With 6% the number of players in all eRepublik, they have 10,6% of Division 4 total amount of players.

For sure, they have some players there just for the bonus, but if you see other countries like Serbia, Greece, Romania, Slovenia, USA, Croatia, etc., these old communities are extremely favored by comparison with countries that had baby booms in recent years. Like the cases of Argentina, Colombia, Portugal, RoC, Ukraine, etc.

This means that if a small country wants to have any impact in eRepublik, and with effort achieve a great baby boom right now, if all remains the same, only by 2020 they will balance the battles with the arrival of these players in Division 4 (this corresponds to a bit more than an average of 100xp a day). This is if Plato doesn’t change the Divisions until that time comes, favoring the older communities again.

P.S.: I included in LETO Bolivia, Uruguay, Canada and France. These are LETO countries, not mattering to me that formally they aren’t right now.
