One thing I noticed playing the game for 3 years is sPolitians are rarely fighters.

What do they care about? Nothing except for their egos.
They do not stay up late at night to make sure a battle closes as our win.

As far as I know, there was no plan to invade Canada imminently. When we got the notice of the NE dec, our own NE dec was issued in response. There had been talk about invading Canada from a lot of quarters, but I hadn't heard of a decision to actually do so. But Rylde has been mad at the US for awhile, and it seems like he was itching for a war.

The President indicates that the massive voting in favour of the NE may have been caused by misunderstanding of his mass message. I can understand that Cody-Y was on a frolic. But the reaction was natural. Now, instead of blaming the US administration, wouldn't it make sense for the canadian government to just say "we meant no harm...."
