CrOmega...a PTO or Benign Immigration?

There is lots of discussion about this topic at the moment from people who firmly believe we are already PTOed by CrOmega to people who are highly insulted if even this suggestion is considered. In this article I try to remain neutral and view it from a position of factual observance.
Please note this article is a personal article and not on behalf of any Party or MU. This article is based on a contribution I made to Paddy OBrien for an article he was going to publish but didn't.
Is there a PTO? I don't know. In reality only CrOmega HQ know for sure. They can deny and people will only say that they would say that wouldn't they.
For existing eIrish citizens (prior to the CrOmega influx) we can only look at the risk factors and determine the likelihood.
For a PTO to be effective you need the following
1. Large immigration relative to the native population.
2. A point-man
3. Get your members into positions of relative power in time for the big push.
4. Do it secretly until you are ready to make your move
Now, notwithstanding that all the above could happen in a benign immigration, what I am trying to ascertain here is to look at the risk.
1 Numbers/population Looking at the numbers immigrating (I am trying to work it out from the accepted citizens list) I make it about 27 holding the CrOmega colours. The MU itself has 55 members but some are names I know and trust Allowing for this I am making a wild guess at 40 actual true/Old CrOmega members in Ireland. Taking the pre CrOmega August Congress vote total of 146 votes. The CrOmega total make about 27% of this total. Add them to that total reduces their percentage and this is the actual position. This vote bloc just meets the test imho. Others may disagree.
2. A pointman, easy one this MUFC/Don Croata This test is also met.
3. Positions of power, I make it now about 9 in congress, 2 Party President
However one party is the largest party. Also now the point-man is Country President. I believe this test is seen to be passed.
4. Secrecy! Now this is where the conspiracy fails. CrOmega has not in any way tried to hide their arrival. They are open and honest about each of their members all joining the CrOmega MU so we can keep an eye on them. This test is a fail
So imho a PTO cannot be shown to be in the works but I would recommend, as I would with any large group entering our republik, that a very close eye is kept on them while at the same time giving them space to integrate and naturalise.
There is a real possibility that the CrOmega immigration is a very positive trend in eIrelands. The media module is once again active and there is no doubt that our military now commands a bigger punch.
I am in no doubt that many people have opinions, both positive and not so, on this article. I have a forlorn hope that the debate that might reliase in the comment section below will be conducted in a reasoned and mannered fashion. I can hope so anyway.

Well. It really is an objective article.
PaddyOBrien wanted to write about this. I think my answer to him and on his question can be used here too.
1. Do you think people have a basis for saying that you and CrOmega are or could be involved in a PTO of eIreland? Why do you think that?
No. First of all...CrOmega was INVITED to eIreland. One of the older members of Irish community (also RL Irish) asked me if we can come in eIreland since eIreland needed help in population and damage in lower divisions.
We had voting in CrOmega and since we was somewhat dissapointed with situation in eCroatia we've decided to come and help eIreland. Every CrOmega member who wanted to come here had to PROMISE PUBLICLY he won't do any harm to eIreland. You can ask that any of my lads.
As soon as we came to eIreland I told everyone to spread around ALL parties so we can, as a group, socialise with ALL other groups in eIreland. We've done exactly that. You can see CrOmega members in every party in eIreland.
PTO is political takeover (with bad intentions). I've been Party President of EA before, you can hardly call it takeover, you can't tell me I have bad intentions, why would I destroy something I created with the old EA?
2. Do you think eIreland is vulnerable to a PTO at this time, by CrOmega or any organization/enation?
I don't. As long as our Immigration Commitee is doing good job we'll be fine. I wouldn't be accepted here if I didn't proved myself to be a patriot. Yes I had some debates and mistakes, but I have eIreland in my heart and everyone knows it. That's why it hurt me when someone tell me I'm PTOer.
3. Do you offer any public guarantees to show that you have only good intentions? If so, what are they?
What can I offer? A promise? I promise I'd never harm eIreland anyhow. I think I proved it not by my words, but by what I did. I was President of Ireland 4 times. Every time I spent hours and hours trying to find a best solution for our country. We're rich to have people not only from Ireland, but also from Croatia, USA, Canada, Bulgaria and other countries. As long as we're sure everyone here wants to contribute to the society we'll be fine.
I speak by what I do, not by the words.
I think behaviour of CrOmega members so far proved we have only good intentions.
Anything else you would like to add or put into your statement. I would ask if the MUFC account is dead or just not being used. Also, why did you decide to start over, instead of trying to rebuild that character?
Nah, I said it all. I just love Ireland.
Game changed when I quit. I wanted to start from the beginning because when we had war with UK I crushed all my companies, training grounds and spent all the money I had. I was already in D2, so only way to make money was to start from the beginning and start winning BH's and building my account in a smart way as I did now.
I don't know what's with MUFC account to be honest. I gave it to friend, but I don't think he still plays.

Oh and...many of those who immigrated to eIreland joined us AFTER they came here, you can ask Dio Optimus, arhivator, Ruthless Warrior and few others about it. There's several new eIrish players who joined us too.
I saw they are approved and thought why not to ask them to join.
That should put down the theory we're "bringing people", because only those who came here was the guys from that first month of immigration, after the invitation, we came together because we eLive together, we're family.
I understand your point of view too though.
Oh and, thank you for the opportunity to say my point of view and the truth, because as you said, I'm the only one who truly knows it. I told my lads I'll slap them if they harm eIreland by any way.

We're going to eIreland to have fun, we'll be more meaningful to our new eCountry, we love them in real-life, we will meet good people there. We'll help eIreland by helping CrOmega.

I don't think they are a PTO. I think Cromega genuinely wants to see eIreland be successful. They are definitely not a foreign organization trying to sabotage the country.
I don't think they are benign, either. They are an effective, and influential group, who can impact eIreland's path. Hopefully those impacts will be more positive than negative. But, that can be said about every one of eIreland's factions... I hate party politics.

The problem is with your hypothesis is that you require "secresy". One can have a secret PTO or an open PTO. Also Don Croata vehemently said he didnt want to be Country President and now suddenly decided he wants to be a case maybe for the 'secrecy" you require. Also was all cz passes done by the book. And then finally as he is an orc he fell back into the fold not requiring secresy to bring his herd of cro-magnons here.

This article is objective and I have to hand it to you for that WHS. The criteria you set up for defining the risk of a pto is good too, although I think there's a subjective element as well... it is theoretically possible to perform a pto without actually conspiring - it can happen naturally.
I think Cromega will have an important effect on our political scene - as you pointed out they are a new and active population equal to around a quarter of out voting population. However, I think there's more than that to consider:
More important than any other criteria, is whether there is an intent to compromise the sovereignty of the nation... to make is a puppet of some over sovereign or to otherwise disenfranchise the rest of the country.
I think here we can see that this is definitely NOT a pto... we're drifting away from Croatia if anything.. and meanwhile Cromega has made a conscious effort to separate their MU community from becoming a functional political bloc. Ofc in reality there is bound to be mutual political interests that arise from sharing any meta community - but even that I view as simply being healthy and natural.

I would say that non-integration into the general populace is also a requirement to be considered a PTO. MUFC's been in eIreland for ages, was in the ICA, has been President before having a huge cohort of people coming in from abroad etc etc.
If Cr0mega suddenly decides to leave us out in the cold, then they would be a PTO, but that is far from the case at present.
alot of us were in eIre for long time before, so no I wouldn't call it PTO 😃
The reason I chose not to publish an article is that I was attempting to have Don Croata and his primary accusers represented in a neutral fashion. I also had some respected members of our society, such as WHS to give thoughts on PTO's and our current situation. In the end, I could not get sufficient input from the opposition to create a balanced article.
I do not think we have been PTO'd at this time. I do think that CrOmega has been a good element in eIreland so far. It's up to everyone to work together to keep our nation strong and secure. If you feel there is a danger or threat, bring it up in a reasonable manner so that it can be seen and dealt with as needed. Hysterical, foaming at the mouth attack articles will be disregarded as usual.
Good article. As Paddy said "if you feel there is a danger or threat, bring it up in a reasonable manner". Obviously some people felt there might be an issue. The matter was brought up reasonably and here we are talking about it.
I don't feel taken over yet, but if I see pod people I will be sure to let you all know, unless you are all pod people of course 🙂, in which case it will be too late anyway.
Do I think it's a PTO? No, though MUFC standing for CP could be seen by some as evidence of that. There was discussion in Dail about the general idea of a large group coming into the country and the pros and cons discussed and there has been continued discussion about this elsewhere and action taken.
It's a very narrow path to tread, but, on balance, the aim to add some activity to Ireland has been achieved and I think we all knew MUFC would stand for CP again sooner rather than later, with or without CrOmega!
