In this article we will be covering the vital aspect that governs the stability of the Nation, i.e. Foreign Affairs

Foreign Affairs

Before delving further I would like if you guys could devote few minutes to read this article published in Bulgaria by the Bulgarian Ambassador, Svrnc Tprunkov. It is an interview which covers the current crisis we are facing.

Few months ago one of the oldest and biggest alliances of erepublik, "EDEN", was embroiled in a world war that eventually saw its downfall. The world witnessed EDEN and its allies pitted against a coalition of anti-EDEN forces, a bloc that consisted of an emerging powerful alliance named CoT and a robust old alliance named TWO.
Considering the effort put by the anti-EDEN coalition forces it was apparent that the collapse of EDEN was inevitable, but even then the pundits predicted that these world wars are a part of the series of unending cycles of evolution in Plato's world. It was predicted that sooner or later a new world war would begin that would eventually put the allies of coalition forces against each other due to the void created by the collapse of the giant. Sooner than expected the situation arrived, with CoT alongwith it's allies at war with TWO alongwith it's allies.

Though we might not be directly involved in this war, but indirectly we are in the core, and the reason is quite obvious here.

To add to this, comments like "There is no more place left in India" and "If you NE us, we will send you to India" by few Serbians in world media, gives us an idea about our current condition in terms of Foreign Affairs and Military Strength.

The fact is we don't have any friends right now, except a few. We, ourselves, are solely to be blamed for the mess. For past few months the Indian Foreign Affair lost it's track and became stagnant. We have a lot of potential but we lack a direction and contacts.

3 Months ago we decided to Join CoT. But unfortunately we failed to find an acceptance within the alliance. The reasons are our laziness and delay in reacting to situations, and a deep rooted thought that has become a part of our mindset and personality. Something our ancestors inherited from EDEN, few like to call it the "Damagehood".

That is exactly what most country presume us to be and fail to find enough reasons to trust us anymore. We have to now look beyond damage, we have to realize that to win friends we have to put effort and prove our worth to them. We have to change our ideology from "Damagehood" to "Brotherhood". We have to come to the aide of our allies through dispatch, setting national orders, organzing our MUs for a combined damage, etc. But in order to do that we will have to re-establish our relationship with our close allies through Ambassador Programme.

Our first attempt will be to make our way out of this Mud Pit, we have been pushed into, and release as much regions as we can through diplomacy. War is not a big option right now, but the priority is nevertheless to build ourselves up and become a nation with affluence and global influence.

Having achieved it, no nation would be able to threaten us or take our regions without our consent. Strength wise we will be capable of winning back our regions and defending ourselves.

As of joining an alliance is concerned we have nations in our preferred alliance, who haven't come to the terms of accepting us yet. We need to improve our relationship with those countries. And unless we are assured and have enough confidence of being accepted, we have to avoid taking any drastic measures that could put our future in jeopardy.

USA

USA is one of the members of CoT with whom our relationship hasn't really been on good terms. The main reason for this is the fact that eUSA is a melting pot of various communities in Plato's world, and some of these communities have a reason to dislike India.

1. Dioists: USA has a considerable population of Dioists, a term used to describe the followers of Dio Brando who was the god emperor of Pakistan at one point of time. India had been one of the biggest opponents of Dio and his follower due to the past record of conflicts between India and Pakistan. Plus the Dioists have a strong favour for Pakistan, who are currently occupying few of our regions.

2. Albania: Albanians are considered as brothers by USA due to their past ATO effort against Serbian PTO attempts on USA. During relationship with Albania worsened after Albania decided to Airstrike us. After Airstrike they offered us a rental deal which the Indian Govt. accepted. Unfortunately in order to maintain stability Albania approached Croatia for taking over another Indian region without informing India about it. This lead to a huge controversy, as it was highly unacceptable by us.

3. EDEN: USA still has a good relationship with former EDEN nations such as Croatia, Albania and BiH. All the three countries are currently occupying regions in India due to few deals done in Past. Any form of aggression against this country is seen negatively by the Pro EDEN community of USA.

4. Serbians: Serbians form the second biggest community in USA and the biggest community in another CoT country New Zealand. While the serbian community is involved in a civil war or a power struggle with the dominant Pro CoT group in USA, in New Zealand they are in absolute power. Our relationship with Serbians is an old, albeit a Bad One with few exceptions.

Bulgaria

Bulgaria is one of the oldest allies of India, whom most of the Indians look upto as a Brother. Every time India has been in trouble Bulgaria was one of the first countries to respond and help us out of it. Unfortunately, that doesn't hold true for us. We do appreciate our brotherhood and we do publicly claim it. But when it comes to proving it we fall short of it. Since past few months Bulgaria has been involved in War with some TWO countries and are putting in all their effort to save their regions and CoT. This is the time for us to prove our commitment and loyalty to this friendship, to prove our worth as an ally and to prove our stability.

Belarus

Currently, Belarus is one of the closest friends of India. Two months back Belarus extended the warmth of this friendship by supplying us 1000 q7 Weapons. Last month after Pakistan decided to Airstrike India and take over our regions, Belarus was one of the the first countries to heed to our cries and decided to Airstrike Pakistan held Indian region with a focus of kicking Pakistan out of India. Recently, Belarus decided to join TWO, their relationship with CoT has been rocky as well.

This cordial relationship is worth remembering and respecting for a lifetime. Their preference of alliance and friends might be different from us but we ought to remember the face of our true friend and stand by them within our capacity, returning back their sweet gesture with an equal effort.

While it is difficult to discuss our relationship with each and every country.
But few countries, who have stood by us, helped us, supported us and fought for us, are worth giving all due credit for the action and reflection of their generous, benevolent, courteous and amicable nature. It was the effort of these nations that safeguarded and protected our Nation, our Motherland, India. These wonderful & admirable countries are

Republic of Macedonia

Indonesia

Australia

Ireland

To shortlist the focus of Ministry of Foreign Affairs this term:-

1. Ambassadors to various Countries and Blocs. Re-establishing a strong relationship with Allies.
2. Having upto 10 MPPs.
3. Releasing at least 3 more regions for a bigger congress.
4. Aides to our allies during their time of war through Dispatch and organized Strike.

We need to realize that it's difficult for us to get into an alliance right now. We need to improve our strength and reserves. We need to create situations and conditions for alliances to accept us, to want us, to need us.
