CP Issue 3: At the end of the road

When i first started this role 2 month ago, I was unsure how to proceed. Australia was a broken nation, no senate, no region, limited budget as well as less then 100 active fighters. If you told me that 2 month later, Australia would have over 200 active fighters, 7+ regions as well almost 1 million in tax income, I would just laugh at you and think you are joking. If you were to tell me I was one of the players who made this difference, I would think you are pulling my leg.

But here we are two month down the track, a growing nation that has mended its broken body, woken up and took its first steps into this game once again.
For me personally, there were many highlights, some are seen by public, some are unseen by public, some are personal, and some are public.

I will do highlights last, as I like to take this space to thank my cabinet for supporting me in these two month, a CP is a mere figurehead, how well a CP do is mostly Dependant on how effect a cabinet is. and I have to say, this cabinet has been brilliant in their day to day work. The results you see here is not luck, but from the hard work all of these players has put.

Lastly... thank you for giving me this opportunity to run and manage this nation. I wish the best for the future of this nation.

Highlights - in no particular order:

Got elected, esp by a 6th ranked party at the time

Getting all of our regions back, yes all 7 regions back and actually holding them for a while.

Having a brilliant first term TW with NZ, losing Tassie once was imo, the best record we had, and considering how quickly the region was returned, I say it has been 100% successful for both part.

Laughing at Ronell as they got rape by Chile and Argentina when they switched TW partners, even tho the reason why they swap was to give Aus a break as they were kicking our ass :3

Running as a Dictator for 2/3 of the term (Ty Indo)

Welcoming back the new senate as it turned out to be lonely voting by yourself (oh and the ability to donate $$ was also good for us to kick start budgets)

Helped ePH from being conquered by eSg, probably the best MPP i have ever shouted.

Getting a 600k+ budget turn out, better then what we estimated.

Seeing APP grow from a small time 6th party into number 1 of Australia, making tons of new friends who gave me the energy and courage to run a second term.

Laughed as Disduck failed his ePh election for CP, then felt bad for him.

Getting pretty much all top 5 party endorsements for 2nd term run (almost shutting down Larni from appearing on the voting page)

Winning a second term with over 50% votes

Formed a large Cabinet which has worked extremely well overall.

Tried to get Chimor for Aus, but ended up with a semi 20 extra bonus in weapon instead.

Pissed off Argentina for their backstabbing, Phoenixgreen getting a 10 second start to Arg vs Aus NE race to attack NZ.

Waking up to attack NZ in that 10 second gap, getting over 100 notifications from Argentina spams and was flooded from irc like 5 times cause of their spam. (actually got the attack as well).

Blocked Argentina many times as they tried to attack NZ.

Building a closer relationship with NZ through this situation, securing what I think can be called a long term TW between the two nations.

Turning Auckland into pretty much Ausland.

Getting one of my articles over 100 votes 😃 thank you to everyone 😃

Getting almost 1 mill in budget, which is beyond my expectations.

Successfully completed the first of (hopefully) many to come competitions.

Apparently donating all of these stuff wasnt that fun, big thanks to mudkip_mcmudkip, Koyaanisqatsi Max (get a shorter name) Aka Madcow, Reminisce, Phoenixgreen and Marcos Arolia for helping with all of the donations 😃.

Becoming the first CP (hopefully no one curse me) to not piss the senate enough to get an impeachment attempt for the first time in 6-7 month. (even if you do now, i still hold it for last month 😛)

Most of all, watching this nation grow and build as a whole, it has been a wonderful experience, despite all of the recent bs.
