Hey all,
Dr Hugh claimed I have been inactive for the past year, it was a surprise to me as since March last year I have held the position of Inspector General. The I.G. duties were to remain impartial and not hold any positions of power.
Some may see it as role playing red tape folly, but as anybody that has held the position can testify, it has been treated with the respect the position holds and delivered verdicts dependent on the laws we had.
This position, now that the forums are closing and with it all rules and constitutions relieves me of said duties to be free to get back to politics.
It does not matter who wins the election
THE XG FORUMS ARE GOING, all rules/laws and constitution GONE
The library GONE, nothing with the ausrepublic domain name will exist.
YES I will ask for some things to exist, we need some order. Which will be discussed later.
If doing a job for the country behind the public eye is inactivity then so be it.
Other behind the scenes work include looking after the wiki between duties mainly with Mr Awesome and before Timeon went on a supreme wiki trip.
Being Inspector General is not the only experience I bring to the table, I have been elected CP three times as well as twice more via CP impeachment all under the ANP. I have been Deputy CP, Minister of Industry, Minister of Defence, and was even Minister of Finance under Cottus Arci. I’ve been Minister of Cultural services which is kind of equivalent to the JDS. I have been a senator 22 times (includes 1 time as replacement for Barnabus Stinson who was banned by admin but allowed to stand, so admin replaced me with him as I was next in line). Party President of the ANP more times than I can recall.
When I announce my cabinet I will have people in positions that will do the job asked of them, I will take those that can do a job well, that I trust.
My cabinet will not be huge, I don’t work like that, I work to get things done.
My first cabinet member that I shall name will be my Minister of Finance since it is a topic at the forefront of everyone’s minds.
I have asked the person who is one of most respected in this position and beyond reproach.
Venja has accepted and will be my Minister of Finance.
My style of play is not welcomed by all, my party not loved, but without me or the freedom loving ANP, eRepublik in eAustralia would sure as hell of been boring.

I judged your inactivity by the fact you sent me a donation for the JDS last year saying in a PM that you had left the game, since then your activity on the forums has also been not frequent. In that time have you been IG every month on the forums?
Role playing is fine, it is what we are doing but when you add extra role playing onto role playing against common sense then it borders ridiculous. In March we had a CP leave, senate said no to an Impeachment to replace the absent CP, so the guy who would have taken over via game mechanics also left. This left us with either a rookie player who nobody knew as a CP if Senate tried Impeaching again or me...a caretaker. I ran every department with just two people helping at a time we were fighting RW's arranging MPP's and trying to get into the LETO alliance and it would have been nice for someone to say ''Heck why are we wasting an active player as IG when forum activity is dead and the community needs that person more in game helping run the Government?''
My ''beef'' with red tape and forum role playing is that posting here and there in a IG position on a forum used by a minority will not stop us losing players to the rival game that most of our community left to play instead. It's in here, eRepublik where you stay alive as a community, It's in here where you win RW's, It's been in here we have had foreign MU's and Governments support us on the battlefield, it's been in here we have arranged Asteria MPP's. Forum role playing is meant to supplement the game play in here not over power it and dictate to it....not true? Then submit a ticket to the eRepublik admins about something on the forums and they will tell you that it is an external site from the game and not their concern.
We need to get back to common sense and keeping people informed, make them feel involved, keeping them interested in here, because posting in a thread on a forum nobody see's does not answer their questions or keep them entertained.

Yours was accidental mate, we know one abstained because there wasn't a 24 hour debate etc...red tape eh? and Binda voted no to the impeachment because she said as long as CC was still CP she was still MoFA...it was in an argument to Tim Holtz who had just sacked her from cabinet.

Well good luck. I'm not sure how/why MoF is at the forefront of people's thoughts... Since nothing has been mentioned and no one has contacted me, rest assured there will be an end of term report and I will gladly wash my hands of all positions should you win.

You mention about the forfront of our minds being finance. It might be for some, but I would really like you to detail your plan or any plan for that matter about building activity up or bringing in new players. It is becoming more and more of a ghost town around here, and I would love to hear any idea's or plans you have.

It's started Mickskitz, just look at how many people became active when we had a real competition for C.P. People became passionate about something and that is one of the things we need to channel towards real discussion on how to grow eAustralia and intigrate all the new people with the knowledge of the old. It's these things that keep people coming back and reading the articles to see what has been updated. It's like a soap opera never knowing which way it's going to end. We need people to create the stories, make the history, I have done my bit all through my eRep life to push boundaries some good some bad, but all to promote eAustralia or my party.
