COnned

You're a glorious fighter. Yes you are. You play for the exhilaration of the battleground. And then someday, in comes CO. A grin of self-indulgence flowers in your face. Bring it! You're a now machiavellian merc, a gold-embroidered goon. You do no longer chose your battles, the ring of money does. You do no longer have comrades or allies, only paychecks and sponsors. Sure you can get your stats blustered faster but for what? To earn more CO? Bend down and sweep up some cash, that's why you are here. Sell your allegiance to the highest bidder, if it's redeemable for a handful of cc it's probably a good investment.

Is this how you roll?

It pays to be on the affluent side, doesn't it? Which side is that doesn't really matter. Frankly, there are no sides, only money up for grabs. You've made war your enterprise. A force of pure destruction drives you. You want no winners, because winners don't pay. You struggle and toil to make sure everybody loses. But soon, before you even know it, cha-ching, you' re a loser too. You've lost more than you've ever bargained for, your precious fighting spirit. What got you here in the first place. But hey, don't be sad! You can still get a fancy battle hero medal someplace they won't remember your name when the campaign is over.

Bite the bullet

You can trade in alien pointless victories or you can bloody win your own. Get your act together. You breathe fire and you're not for hire! You get in and battle with your friends on your side and with a purpose in mind that's majestically greater than you. That's how it was supposed to be. Make a profit out of communicating with people, not of having greater digits in your account . Smash the walls you want to, that's the only walls worth smashing. The alarming truth is you can't get the hype of the might if you just don't care. So, make your battles meaningful again.

Fight for a cause, not COs.
