First of all, I would like to thank everyone who voted for me in the Congressional elections yesterday. I promise to represent you in the senate to the best of my ability and I will do everything I can to make you proud. I represent everyone of you and Queensland, so I will make every attempt at upholding our values and doing what is best for Queensland and this great nation of Australia.

Secondly, Congratulations to the Australian National Party for putting 16 members into the Senate. That is a great feat and I look forward to many great things to come!
