Concerning Unity

After his defeat in the Unity elections, Paul Proteus has conceded the election paving the way for Tenshibo to become the next CP. This hotly contested election amongst two well qualified candidates has caused some anger amongst the community specifically related to the Unity process and how it is conducted. Let’s face it, almost no one likes Unity, it robs our nation of a true democratic process while killing our fun in the process. Many have called for the end to Unity by simply just running a legitimate third party candidate and giving a big f*** you to Unity. While I understand and sympathize with this line of thought, I believe we should kill Unity a different way. This way focuses on the root, or the cause of Unity, that being the AFA. Without the AFA, or at least a diminished AFA, there is no need for Unity. I feel we must Unite Against Unity by destroying the AFA. We must make it a living hell for them to be here.



They want to make our eLife suck? This s*** can go both ways

The 15th

I am not a government insider, so I don’t know who the government will back on the 15th. The most logical choice to me would be Gnilraps since he is well known and has top ballot spot. However, he just published an article instructing people to vote for stewy, so who knows. Regardless of who the government backs, I could f***ing care less what you think of them and whether or not you think they are a terrible elitist, if you truly want Unity to die we have an excellent opportunity to do so this month, but it may mean you swallowing your pride and casting a vote for someone who belongs to a party that you may not like.

The Smokescreen

On the 15th, the AFA will likely employ some sort of smokescreen by trying to get one of their own elected in another Top 5 party distracting us from taking over the AFA. My guess, is that they will try and get Serbian PTO’er Free Area elected again in the AMP. Fortunately for us, the AFA really only has the numbers to have one smokescreen and it will become apparent very early on Election Day what party they are going for. We are also very fortunate to have the time zone advantage against the Serbs. When reset hits and Election Day starts, a good majority of our citizens are asleep while Europe is starting to wake. While we sleep, the Serbs will start casting their votes so that when we wake it will be clear what party they are targeting and about how many votes we need to direct to that party. We must take advantage of this . While taking over the AFA is the ultimate goal, making sure that they are not in control of two top 5 parties is first priority. I do believe that we can do both, defend our current parties and take over the AFA, all we need is a well executed plan.



Preparation is key

The Plan

I urge our next CP, Tenshibo, to make taking the AFA on the 15th a top priority. When elected, I suggest that he put together a committee consisting of the party presidents, MU leaders, media voices, and those that have done extensive work performing ATO operations before. Spend the 5th thru the 10th putting together a solid plan, and then the 10th thru the 14th making the preparations to execute this plan. Party Presidents MUST message all members of their party before the 15th letting them know to be alert on election day and that their vote may be needed outside of the party. Funds should be collected so that on the 15th we can blanket the Top 5 with articles from prominent citizens from all walks of eLife presenting a unified ATO message.

Conclusion

While I strongly dislike the AFA, I do admire their planning and execution. To fight this, we must plan better, we must execute better, and we must not be lazy and sacrifice a few seconds of our time moving to a new party to vote. Ultimately, killing Unity comes down to you the citizen doing your part. There is no f****ing point wasting your vote on a candidate who is going to win anyway. We CANNOT have Top 5 party candidates winning by over 100 votes, that is a waste and a damn shame. If you want Unity truly dead, we must cut off that which feeds the need for Unity, that being the AFA. The time has come USA, let’s get this done.
