A person's tenure ENDS then they are RELECTED by the electors. It is not indeifinite.

Ranger the issue is that he is trying too hard to be like you. You loved responding with 45,000 page decisions and revelling in complexities, but tbh, it was hell annoying and even you admitted that you just use to do it to confuse everyone. Now we have a guy doing it for real.

Good Lord here we go again. While the RP laws are in place the CP is hamstrung so the current I-G stays put until the new Senate. Then again we can play semantics with the I-G Act which quotes the position as an 'independent officer of the Senate', thus without the Senate = has no power. THEN AGAIN (seriously love some of these Senators) - the I-G is the head and the single officer of the Judicial Branch of the eAus Government and therefore not part of the Senate.

Actually you're incorrect.

According to the act, the CP, dCP or speaker have the right to move a vote of no confidence.

Then it requires two seconders, who can be cabinet members or senators.

I can point you to the act if you like so you can read it and admit they you got it wrong (You know, it's okay to say "ooops, I got that one wrong")

Even if Ranger or Scottty moved the motion there would be no cabinet members who seconded it. Withered is doing his job when required and certainly done nothing that warrants this attention unless people want to actually start pleading a reason for this to be considered.

Criticizing an action that has taken place isn't revelling in complexities. I invite you to go look up what we consider complexities, there is many examples of it.

I was. I made myself clear across numerous threads that there was no need for a unity vote considering the PTO threat to the CP elections had subsided.

The issues i actually have in simple form.

1. Despite there being a clear PTO threat, the IG has to spend days upon days having massive TL'😉R discussions and long dissections of legislation to simply come out and say "Yes, theres a PTO threat" - This is revelling in complexities at it's finest.

2. Despite the PTO threat to the CP elections being stopped, the IG didn't come out and say people were free to vote however they liked and instead he sat on his hands once

again revelling in complexities and writing massive TL😉R.

3. Mr Cumpets then points out that the IG doesn't even really have the right to say that EVERYONE must vote for a unity candidate for the CP elections (which was brought up on the last pages of the thread) and i thought it was worth looking at.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how larni can go from me, talking about the IG revelling in to many complexities and turn that into apparently the ANP revelling in complexities, not liking Rangers government and trying to bring it down.
