"Did you know", also for the Anime Review section I am still taking suggestions of animes to review so comment below or message me to suggest the next anime for me to watch(If I havent yet) and review, todays anime is Code Geass as the title says.

Code Geass

First im gonna start off with reviewing the first season and then i will go onto reviewing the second season, and i hate to say this but im a fan boy when it comes to Code Geass so this one will be somewhat biased.

First Season

Story(Some spoilers if you havent watched it yet)
The story startes off with Japan being conquered by Britannia, and Japan gets renamed to Area 11 and the Japanese citizens being renamed as Elevens. Lelouch Lamperouge is the protagonist and is a exiled Britannian prince who was sent to Japan as a bargaining tool, after the war Lelouch vows to destroy Britannia. A few years later Lelouch gets caught up in a terrorist attack and finds a girl named C.C. who saves his life and grants Lelouch the Geass power, eventually Lelouch leads a resistance movement called The Black Knights from his alter self named Zero.

Likes
Their are honestly too many likes for this, the first season had a strong buildup and a lot of action in a fast manner. Lelouch gets shown as a commanding genius early on and that had me sold on the first season. Also, the Knightmares really were pretty cool as I liked Gundam as a kid.

Dislikes
Not much I can put here aside from the fact that i really disliked Nunnally's character as she is sort of annoying in this season.

Rating
Id easily give this a 9/10 just because of how much it dragged me in and on how it ended because when i heard that gunshot knew that the next season was going to get even more exciting.

Second Season
In the second season it starts off Lelouch back at school acting as if nothing had ever happened and now has a brother, but eventually he realizes that his memory was erased and eventually learns that he is Zero.

Likes
I liked the second season even more from the first as it introduces Rolo(Lelouch's fake brother), it made for a surprise and exciting way to continue the story when Lelouch figures out that Rolo isnt his brother when he gets his memory's back.

Dislikes
I really to this day cant understand the ending no matter how i try, especially at the very end when C.C. is on the cart in the hay with the person driving seeming to be Lelouch just from the hair.(So if anyone could help explain that please do so in the comments)

Rating
I would give this a 9/10 but its really pushing a 10 with the raw enjoyment i got from watching the first season went to a even new level when i finished the second season.

And thats all for this anime review! Wednesday will be a day that the Culture section of Sotoba News does not put anything out. But the battle section will continue everyday.
