Coalition of Political Parties - I want you to succeed!
Vyrin the First
Dear Coalition:
Since I have been in support of trying new things in eAUS since the beginning, I'm glad you're trying to do SOMETHING. Believe it or not, I actually hope it succeeds.
However, coalitions have existed before, and one could say this coalition already existed before this last CP election, so is this REALLY new? It was already spelled out here, not with the cute little later "c" additions, but you know what I mean:
It was also made pretty obvious by the fact that the takeover of the APP was not just a one-time joke, but held onto in the PP elections.
Seems like a lot of players believe this has all been tried before. And many of the players in this coalition have told me all along: everything has been tried in eAUS and nothing works, so don't try. So how exactly are we doing something new to benefit eAUS? Or was what you said before too pessimistic, and now you have a renewed optimism? I hope the latter.
Plus, why would you use a notorious player to make the announcement? Lest I get told to f--- off for the hundredth time, you of course can choose to do what you want. But you have much better and less inflammatory spokespeople that could make your case eloquently. And who really is speaking on your behalf, Nicky, who is trying to be respectful and balanced, or TJ/Mick? If you want to be heard can we get more from Nicky?
If only a coalition of parties could change game mechanics, add 1000 players to eAUS, and fix the economy. Plato just laughs at everything we do, unless we throw real money into his coffers.
I want you to succeed, I've wanted new ideas to succeed and help eAUS from the beginning. There was good discussion when I first started writing about ideas, and now all I expect are the usual trolling comments. But it doesn't have to be that way, does it? I hope you agree with me on this.
But if it's just the same people, behaving the same way they always have based on the same old friendships, what is going to change?
Sincerely I wish you good luck. I really do.
And to lighten things up a bit....
From one of my favorite websites... maybe the official website of eAUS!

we were both Chosen AC's words was "Mick get up some articles ready Nicky you get one up too" its no question that Mick not only has more subscribers but also better writing skills than i do if i were the one that was trusted with the "official" announcement then it wouldn't have been nearly as well written so i left that to Mick and wrote a article more to my style
Ok that is good information, I didn't know it was AC's choice to have TJ write an article. I still wonder - there are many people in the coalition with a lot of subscribers.
And don't downplay your skills. Decency and transparency go a long way.
Timezones my dear boy, TJ was home due to his illness.
In order to be given our own Forum board XG demanded a public article announcing the Coalition etc
TJ, although not as good a writer as Nicky (imo, ily TJ) TJ was more informed at the time and ofc, Nicky couldn't due to him having to sleeeeeeeep.
Plus, Larni kinda ruined it with her "Illuminati conspiracy" article so it had to be rushed a bit sadly.
Yes I write the article at 3 in the morning...I was very tired haha....don't lie AC 😉
haha 😛
Which means, you could have written it too... or was that the bit about the sugar? Confused still.
Sugar?.....

I was at school, the conversation occurred ~9AM our time, I was in the middle of a PS class so I had to type the messages on my phone.
p.s
eRep on a mobile suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.
ive gotten on it twice while i was bored....i cant go to my mail...alerts....and im lucky to be able to type something in a comment
I hope they have addiction counselors at that school too
wow really? Now I know my past methamphetamine problem was a well public issue but I really thought you would've been above such a low comment.
Just, wow.
Wow! First Louise got word of my lung infection and made a crack about 'catching his breath' and now this? Wow, wow, wow, WOW! Congrats Vyrin you set out to make me speechless I just never thought it would be like this.
Uh hello again. Jumping to conclusions and stupidity. Read AC's comment about checking eRep messages at school. That's the addiction I was referring to... you guys are really that messed up? Think logically. I know nothing about you in REAL. But logic seems to always escape you. Mick you can't score point with stupidity if you really meant what you said.
And I really hope AC's comment was a joke - because no one should reveal anything about real in this game.
There's a lot you don't know, Vyrin. Again if you did your research before speaking maybe then you'd understand why things are the way they are.

My take...
I do not want anyone to fail (Save Mick, who seems to hate me).
If we look at the goals of both "Coalitions" (This is assuming GGP/ARP/ANP (Maybe))m they are both very similar. The betterment of eAUS is the foremost goal of everyone.
If everyone got along, it would be a tough place to live. (No joke.)
At the same time, I do enjoy the challenge of being in the "Opposition" to your Coalition. This is how the game ought to be played, just like RL politics.
Nice article, Vyrin, nice job Arthur Cole.

Remember that if we did all get along there still would be all the real enemies to fight against in the eWorld!
Who needs "Real Enemies"?
eAus loses players because it's a politically disadvantaged country. Even if every party was stupid enough to nominate their maximum number of candidates, our population hasn't got the population to elect them all even if the total sum of the T5s has premium turnout. Some among us are war like when it comes to politics. Because we like it .. because that's what we enjoy .. because that's what we know..
Not just one reason. Anyone can hold hands. I can do that on Facebook for free.
You can also troll in facebook for free, just saying.
Never thought I would have a forum to compare and say this, but there's less crap on Facebook compared to the swill I see on here on a daily basis. Now that's saying something.
"Plus, Larni kinda ruined it with her "Illuminati conspiracy" article so it had to be rushed a bit sadly."
You know it almost seems like that was the point. 😉
I just want to air out a few things. It was pretty well known that the APP (Ronny Era), ACP and KHMC voted pretty similarly in the last election and that was no accident. The Tim Holtz vote was all Coalition members due to a) Scottty, Ronny and I being the first to be approached by Tim and gained the synonymous vote within our caucuses.
I didn't really see the problem with TJ doing the announcement as it wasn't a hate article, a spam article or a trolling article. All TJ did was announce the formation of the Coalition. Just because in your eyes you may see him as a "notorious troll" does not change the fact that TJ has excellent writing skills and was informing the electorate on a pretty big change.
The Coalition's inception was to bring in an organised bloc of similarly aligned players to work together to form policies and debate between the 3 major parties.. Any party could join the Coalition if they wish to, or any other party can form a Coalition.
It stopped parties from having to be merged and actually bought the 3 parties closer together than I think anyone could of imagined.
I'm surprised no one's asked the question yet: What the fk is stopping the ARP, GGP and ANP from forming their own coalition? I see nussink!
because you want to believe there is a second faction where there simply is none.
