CHAZ4CP - A Reflection Upon The Terrible Outcome of This Election

Day 3,487, 12:12 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by CptChazbeard

I am humbled by this election, truly am and as such will crawl back into the pit from whence I came to seldom be heard from again.

Before I do so however I would like to thank those who voted for me and the parties of UKPP, BP, Lemon Party and WRP for backing me. There were numerous allegations of PTOs and treasury thefts put out there but you guys put your necks on the chopping blocks and stood with me. For that I am eternally grateful.

I would also like to applaud our allies in Orion for not getting involved. The response to the hysterical notions of some sort of hostile PTO (by a committed eUKer with more money than the eUK holds in all the orgs and country accounts put together???) was basically met with "You sure m8?".

Though our eNation was almost perfectly split down the middle we must all come together and look at the positives that have come from this election.

The Spirit of the Laws, The Suffragette Movement, The Million Man March, The Magna Carta...

These are fine examples of the furthering of the basic human rights that we all take for granted today and now we can enter another milestone into the annuls of history: The June 2017 UK Presidential Elections in eRepublik.

For far too long 'THE MAN' has tried suppressing the voting rights of dead people (and deceased animals according to The Simpsons). The Don Trump and Rudy Giuliani notably have spoken of election fraud over recent years by 'resurrecting' the dead electorate in desperate bids to win tight elections.

This is why today we must hold hands and celebrate that the democracy players often speak of has been finally recognised as those without a pulse miraculously have appeared en masse just in time for the election to have their say. Psychics and necromancers the world over are surely rejoicing as this is confirmation that they aren't merely shysters trying to con the living (...one feels this should have been a Muck Raker article but meehhhh).

Believe it or not in the past 'coloured' people, women, those with mental health issues were all denied a right to vote. These injustices were overturned and today I weep with joy that a further injustice was undone.

Let us not rest brothers! Today the dead. Tomorrow...the unborn! Let them have their say!

I of course say this very much with my tongue in my cheek. Genuinely I thought this turnout of events absolutely hilarious and actually...potentially good for the game. Mmmm sweet sweet arguments.

So I will return silently to my congressional duties. Wondering what to do with those shiny buttons...

I shall also return to my lonely military unit wondering what to do with the millions I would have sunk into the eUK...
(Fun Fact: There's a lot more stashed away)

But no. Seriously
