Blossoming of the Chrysanthemum Throne

In the past, the Imperial Household was a symbol of stability, prestige, and pride for the eJapanese people. Like its counterpart in the planet we call home in the real world, it stood for something. It had no huge amass of power but it brought the eJapanese people together in trials and tribulations, regardless of size or severity, through its existence and standing. I stand here today, from the now occupied Sendai Castle, to proclaim something to the people of our still-surviving nation even if for now it is currently in spirit and nothing more while we wait for negotiations between our government and the occupiers:

It is now that we begin with the re-establishment of the Chrysanthemum Throne, and the reformation and new beginning of the Imperial Household of Japan

How exactly the new Imperial Household will function, what duties and responsibilites it will have as the occupier of the throne, and what mission it will serve to eJapan as a whole however is something that shall be left up to the Japanese people as a whole. The fate of our Household is best left in these hands, to be decided through discussion and debate by the very people that she will call her proud subjects.

Whatever choice the people shall take, giving us a position of ceremony or power, is up to their hands and their hands alone and not our own. Personally, I'd prefer something more ceremonial over having an actual stake of power in our nation. I believe that the Household should serve as it once did, as a unifying force, with minor amounts of control in the eJapanese government. Serving more of an advisory role while also bringing us together.

If someone could also open a discussion on our forums in accords with this, please do.

In the name of Amamiya Haruhi, Crown-Princess of Japan, and my wife, Yagami Mii, Crown-Princess of Japan... let the cherry blossoms of peace flow forever.
