The second World Cup stage of cyclo-cross took place in Tabor. Not a very heavy track, but a very interesting race with Pauwels on top in the end.

Stybar was off a flying start for his Czech home crowd, but lots of riders could follow. After a while a leading group with 7 riders formed, followed by a small group with Albert in it.

After an acceleration from Stybar and Pauwels, teammate from Pauwels, Klaas Vantornout, hold the chasing group back. Due to a flat tire, Stybar had to change his bike, leaving Pauwels alone in front.

With five laps left, Pauwels rode smoothly, while Vantornout disturbed the organisation in the chasing group, leaving Stybar and Albert all the work.
Finally, Stybar and Vantornout made a gap, followed by Nys and Mourey. Albert lost a lot of places in the end.

Zdenek Stybar took second, way behind Kevin Pauwels, who now leads the overall rankings in the World Cup.
