Good afternoon America! How have you been? It’s been a while since I posted here, since Congress actually, but hey, I got busy, forgive me :3

What can you look forwards to this issue?

1) – JK’s aiming for PP … again
2) – I gots promoted …. TWICE!
3) – Looking back at my Congress run

Let’s get this moving!



1) – Looking for another shot at Party President

I hope you didn’t actually think I was giving up on this did you? Pft, come on, you should know me better by now that I hardly ever give up if I feel I can do this. So, JK is stepping into the race for Party President again! You can refer back to my last article when I ran for PP on what experience I bring to the post. But on to my plans and cabinet!

Plans:
• Increase membership of AMP to OVER 1,000 within the term
• Increase visibility of AMP in the Media via regular updates from RT’s Newspapers and PP
• Increase number of seats in Congress to 17-20
• Implement (and Distribute link to) fully-working AMP Retention Newspaper
• Continue working towards improving AMP’s standing within Executive Cabinets, by gently pushing people with potential and providing them with help along the way
• Implement an “Intern” program, allowing for a new inlet of Fresh talent into RT

2) – Two Promotions later, I’m part of the Executive

Yeah, this is kinda the reason I’ve been so quiet the past couple of weeks. As I mentioned in my last article, I had become part of the Media Team and was writing for the White House Press Room 3 times a week. I’ve enjoyed doing that, even though at the beginning it felt difficult having to write non-biased stories, because I’ve always been able to write from my angle.

But, it’s grown easier as I got used to it, and it’s become a sort of third home for me (The National Guard and AMP will always be my first and second homes :3) and I was more than happy when I promoted to the Press Corps Director, which meant I was in charge of publishing the WHPR 3 days a week and making sure the paper went out on time.

And now, I’ve been promoted again! A couple of days ago, Israel messaged me telling me that there was a spot open that they hadn’t filled yet in the Cabinet …. And that’s the story about how I became Secretary of Media :3



3) – Looking back at my loss with Congress and my feelings on that

So, I lost my bid for a 3rd Elected term to Texas. Before I go any further, yeah, kinda late writing this considering congress Elections were over 2 weeks ago, but I’ve been busy. Anyways, so I lost, which wouldn’t be too bad, except for who I lost to.

The current congressman for Texas is … to put bluntly, a joke. Lets start with how he won. He was the definition of a Vote Buyer. How do I know this? Because an AMP member got a message from him saying he would give 20 tanks for a vote. You can see the proof in the pudding here - http://prntscr.com/8inb2

Then you have activity. As anyone who is slightly interested in Congress Politics knows, most of the congress debates and discussions takes place on the Congress Sections on the eUSA Forums. Paulthomas has made a grand total of 4 posts, to sign in for the first time, nominating Oblige during SoH Discussions and a couple more. Does that sound like a good congressman to you?

And finally, there’s his citizenship passes. A little bit of digging brings up some interesting facts. He’s accepted more than a couple of shady people, mostly from the looks of it, medal hunters, and then there are the ONE Characters – I’ve seen him accept 3 Spanish, 1 Indonesian, 1 Serbian, 1 FYROM, 1 Polish and 1 Bulgarian. That’s certainly not IES policy as I understand it.

So, in closing … Big mistake eh? :3
