Ajay Bruno Goes e-Global

Day 642, 15:48 Published in South Africa USA by Jaime Hasten

In an unusual move, Ajay Bruno today posted an appeal for help in seven different countries using Google to automatically translate his message. The seven countries he apparently picked, based on the languages chosen, were: eBrazil, eSerbia, eJapan, eSpain, eItaly, eRussia, and eRomania. Strange bedfellows, to be sure, as five of those are members of PEACE, which Ajay has called an "evil empire" in the past (reference: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/south-african-president-lies-to-hold-power-904238/1/20), and the other two are allies of the eUSA, which Ajay recently exiled himself from. Will they hold his previous actions and words against him? Only time will tell.

Hopefully, they will not hold the notorious translation errors inherent in automatic Internet translation against him either. When I re-translated them back into English, some of the sentences thus created left me scratching my head. In any case, I provided the translations for all but the eBrazil post in the individual comment threads as a public service to his readers.

What is interesting about all this is that he was reputed to say, in a conversation leaked about a week ago, that he could provide 100-150 voters in eSouth Africa. Yet his party is still hovering at a distant third with 34 members. Much of this discrepancy is likely due to his followers in the eUSA becoming disillusioned with his actions following his loss to Jaxon Leith as party president of the then-CVP. One can only assume that he's becoming a little bit desperate to find people who will vote for his "foreign immigrant" candidates tomorrow, so that he can make his campaign rhetoric of setting eSA on a new course a reality.

One thing is for sure, it will be interesting to see how the election turns out tomorrow. To all those in eSouth Africa, I wish you luck in getting the candidates you desire to have, rather than the candidates who think you deserve them.
