Advice for Raw Materials Company Owners

Day 1,523, 12:06 Published in Ireland Ireland by DerBrad

This advice might be obvious to many of you, but some of you may not have considered this. So these people are my audience, in this case.

* This advice only applies to owners of Fisheries and Aluminum Mines (or prospective owners) in eIreland.
* This advice only applies at today's Monetary Market Prices (which have remained at 0.001 for some time):

If you own 1 or more of these companies, its time to upgrade. At a cost of 2,500IEP (based on 0.001IEP to Gold rate) you can easily upgrade from a Fishery to a Cattle Farm, or from an Aluminum Mine to a Saltpeter Mine and enjoy the extra productivity.

Also if you do the upgrade after you have worked in the Fishery/Aluminum Mine, you get to work twice from the same land on that day. In other words, you get the productivity from working in the Fishery, then upgrade and you get the productivity from working in the Cattle Farm (just for that day obviously).

Upgrading is simple, just go to your Land, click on "Company Details" for the company you want to upgrade. Then in the drop-down on the right choose "Sell Company".

"Oh but you cant sell Raw Material Companies Stupid!" I hear you say. Well sit down and hear me out!!!

Yes you cant sell it, but you will notice that you can dissolve it for 5 Gold. That's worth 5,000IEP in today's Monetary Market.

After you have converted your Gold to IEP (please purchase your IEP from an Irish Seller) you can then purchase your new Raw Material Company (on the same land) for 7,500IEP, therefore only costing you a mere 2,500IEP

This may be of particular interest to those of you who are struggling to meet one of the criteria (purchasing a Saltpeter Mine) in the recent excellent Saltpeter Initiative set out by the Treasurers Office. In support of this, I am willing to provide Interest Free Loans to anyone who wishes to avail of this excellent opportunity.

If you have any comments/concerns/disagreements please post or send me a message.

Hope this was worth the read or at least helpful to 1 or 2 readers!
