Day 2,960, 07:43 Published in USA USA by Pfeiffer.

Deep in the bowels of the TOP SECRET eUS Presidential Briefings on the eUS forums, someone who shall remain nameless...but totally spends way too much cash on this game...posted something that reminded me why I don't talk to any of the remaining wigs (the ones I got along with all left eRep Labs, good for them).

What did they post? Usually I couldn't tell you, but in the tradition of #1 leaker, smee (don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like smee?), publisher of smeekileaks courtesy of The Burgundy Files, I bring to you a TOTALLY TOP SECRET post from said briefing:

For those who, like me, didn't understand both acronyms right off the bat:

PP = Power Pack
IK = Infrantry Kit

As we all know, more spending on eRep = better "customer service". It makes sense that if you've spent some money on the game your tickets might filter to the top a bit more quickly, that's how you make those people keep spending. However, it seems like granting your biggest spenders the ability to continue to buy promotional and time sensitive items after the promotional period ends is incredibly disingenuous. I've heard tales about getting better deals on gold for buying above the amount listed on the Gold & Extras page, and that too makes sense...this doesn't.

This person is clearly purchasing more than one of each sort of 'pack', which implies that he's doing so for other people (possibly at a profit in currency and/or gold). This gives those people, especially those in lower divisions, a rather significant advantage over other players...even over other people who are spending money on the game. We already have a pay-to-win war module, so I shouldn't be surprised, but this annoyed me so I decided to write this article. I expect it to be taken down soon, so I'm saving the text to republish and/or allow others to publish as well. If you want it, drop me a message.

Oh, and for those who might try to yell about me 'leaking', I got permission.

What a sweet guy, right?

snoochie boochies,
