A tidbit from a REAL American

Day 1,687, 16:15 Published in USA Canada by Vexing Chaos

On the eve, of our RL Independence Day I find myself writing to you.

This is not your normal Chance Harrison article. It won't be as funny as a "Chuticle" or as insightful as a Gnilraps piece of writing with all his numbers and analysis.

Let me tell you this,

I'm ashamed.

NO, I'm not leaving the eUS anytime soon. I recently became a Marine and I've had some fun with it and hope it continues for the foreseeable future. Some awesome people there I must say. Oo-Rah!

What inspired me to write this article is that I'm unable to make any changes even if I knew what those changes were or how to go about enacting them. I'm fed up with the nonsense though. I'm sick of the pretending. I admit I'm not an expert at all things strategic in this game. That's what's cool though. You can learn from people. Although once you learn things tend to change and that's fine.

What I can't stand is that our eNation prides itself on being self sufficient. We are glad to have aid when we need "at least I am" it but when it comes to being a power and a force to be reckoned with we hide behind "democratic posturing".

We had the Asturias Accord which left us not fighting Spain. I don't know about you but I loved killing Spainards. It's what I started doing in this game two years ago. Serbs and Spaniards were on the menu. For the record, I did agree to the Accord because it made sense but it was only suppose to be temporary.

We now have a NAP "Non Aggression Pact" with Poland. This is a double edged sword for me since I'm part Polish in RL so I hold RL sympathies for Poland. That being said, in this game when a country backstabs another and looks to conquer entire countries that is where I draw the line. I'm all for fighting Poland. But we can't now can we?

The NAP was signed to avoid a wipe as stated by our current CP Israel Stevens. So what if we get wiped? It's cyclical and is always inevitable. That's the nature of this gold churning beast of a game. I for one like to go down swinging and fight to the bitter end.

"Fortune favors the bold, fortune favors the brave."

I noticed earlier that our current Natural Enemy is Mexico? Mexico? Really? Fighting Mexico is like Muhammed Ali "in his prime" fighting Manny Pacquiao. Yes I know Pacquiao isn't Mexican. During my time in Congress three terms ago I proposed a NE with FYROM. It was in the works but apparently I put a stop to it by proposing too early unbeknownst to me or else our government chickened out since as of yet we still haven't fought with them. I can tell you at one time Greece needed us to do something like that and I wouldn't hesitate to get us there again in the future.

If I wasn't going away for two weeks next week I would have ran for CP. I may not have won since I'm not in the "in" crowd and I don't sip the same kool-aid. I would have given it my best shot and let the chips fall where they may.

100% of the shots you don't take don't go in. -Wayne Gretzky.

For elections down the road just remember with me you always have a CHANCE.

As I said, for our eCountry I am ashamed.

eAmerica this is your wakeup call.
